Me and my boyfriend spent a night here, in the Kaori special part of the complex. We had a lovely time, the food is delicious, the onsen water was great and they offered us complimentary drinks and ice cream. Had a great time, would love to come back for more time

Great traditional onsen hotel, serve excellent Kaiseki style Japanese meal. Have 7 different Onsens within the hotel. Staff are very friendly and polite and the hotel provide free sutter to near by JR station.

I'm about to check out and I just had to write a review. This place us so beautiful and the staff was friendly. I believe the girls name that came into the room to setup food is mikata. She was absolutely nice and helpful she didn't know much English but somehow we managed to communicate lol. The was definitely the best I've had in all of Japan so far each entrée was better than the next. Btw they have a gorgeous outside onsen but others as well. If you need a day away from the crazy cities in Japan to just relax this place is a must!!

Love love love this hotel. Yumotokan otsu is by far the best hotel in Japan for me. They have so many onsen, 6 if I'm remember correctly. I spend so many hours at the onsen, love it. When you arrive at Ogoto onsen station just search for the pay phone and call to their hotel and they will come and get you in few minutes. Definitely a must for onsen lover

We had a very nice stay. Room was japanese traditional, food was amazing. Staff very friendly and try to explain everything with little english they knew. The hot springs were very nice. The hotel has 4 of them.

Standard ryokan with mostly everything you need. I appreciated the fact that they had multiple onsen pools and make-up remover. There is nothing nearby, so if you want to stay there for more than a night, I would recommend bringing boardgames or books or a laptop. The karaoke system they had was pretty bad.

Great onsen. Great food. They also have several bars and game room you can enjoy in the night.

Came here on a daytrip and it was amazing. The food, service and of course the baths were top notch! The baths operate on a rotational basis and when I was there the men were allocated to a rooftop outdoor bath. One of the best I've been to!
