Staff were fine, but where to start with the room This is a love hotel, all of the unspeakables occur here and despite that and the assumed cleanliness I would expect, it looked like the room hadn't been cleaned in ages. There was dust on every surface and the floor was absolutely disgusting to say the least. Everything from hair to what I would have to assume were "bodily fluids". I would not recommend, it was a cheap overnight sleep, but the upkeep here is far from what would be considered comfortable.

The bed was nice but the floor was not clean. I'm pretty sure they're were splotches of white stuff on the floor. I get that it's a love hotel but come on! It was the type of place that some greasy middle aged businessman would bring his mistress to to smoke cigarettes and other things. I mean for a love hotel it's not even that romantic. I felt like I was in Madmen. They have free movies though which is pretty good. And lots of fun costumes to try on for 1200 yen. If you don't mind a vibrator next to the head of your bed, then by all means stay here during your stay in Gifu. If you want a less greasy experience while you are in Gifu find a different hotel.
