Didn't enjoy there. Very expensive, 1 body towel for rent costs 700 yen and the stuff is not very nice

Services was nice, meal was nice. Only drawback is the onsen temperature is only 42C, not hot enough for those who want really hot onsen.

夕方の利用だった為、本館は入れないので外湯を利用しました。
上高地や乗鞍岳エリアの温泉郷、白骨温泉の老舗です。
内湯は非温泉で10人程度、露天もやはり10人程度の大きさで、源泉掛け流しで白濁し、硫黄臭漂う、素人でも分かりやすい温泉です。
源泉が温めの為、かえって長湯ができ、しかしながら効能は抜群なので、お肌スベスベ、芯からポカポカになります。
料金も600円程度で安い！

ぬるめの温泉で長湯できます。
宿の皆様も着かず離れずの絶妙な間を保って頂き、良いおもてなしと思いました。
当日は急に雪になり、一晩で15cmほど積もりました。道中、坂道が続きますので冬タイヤは必須です。response / report this review -

An amazing couple of nights, the thermal baths are open 24 hrs so you can dip in and out anytime. It was great to learn the washing tradition, but it's a relaxed place, you won't be thrown out if you make a mistake. The food is extremely good, and the staff predicted our every needs. They have a Japanese waitress from the south, who spent 7 years in London, so she speaks excellent English and is extremely nice. Everyone was lovely. Do walk down to the small village to see the original spring, hard to find but worth it
