Very nice walking street, the buildings are traditional Japanese looking. Can be difficult to get good pictures on a crowded day. Shops are also very nice, can get good souvenirs from them. Also a few food stalls to buy waking treats.

Nice shopping on the way to Ise Jingu. This shopping street makes me believe I have been transported back to the Edo period.

So beautiful village. A street is not long but i believe you'd definitely love here. There're so many shops you'd enjoy.

A bit too touristy, but I had the best Japanese fried chicken and grilled oysters ever on some of the stalls there.

It's a nice place to enjoy Japanese people and culture. If lucky, you can enjoy a live performance of Japanese Drums, many traditional restaurants and a nice big Shrine temple next to a beautiful river

A nice quaint area of the town. Although it is modernized and refurbished, it is still interesting and gives a sense of ancient atmosphere.

There are a lot of old-timey looking shops and restaurants. However, I suggest going in Spring or Fall as the summer is extremely hot and crowded.
