This is the real deal. Staying in this house, you'll see how it is to live the Japanese way, with futons on the floor. The bathroom, as in many such places, is shared The owners are very kind, and food is really good.
The village is worth visiting, but if you stay here and still want to visit Sharakawa-go (who wouldn't?), a bus is just minutes away from Choyomon. Be careful though, buses don't run late, so if you need to get here outside of bus hours, taxi can be expensive.

เป็นที่พักแบบเก่าแก่หลังคาฟางหลายร้อยปี เจ้าของบ้านน่ารักมากบริการดีมาก อาหารเค้าก็ทำกันเองอร่อยมาก ถ้าขับรถมาเองแนะนำที่นี่เลยครับ

Very authentic Japanese house with lovely and hard working Japanese staff. There isn't much to see per se but to me it was a very memorable and private change to the beautiful, yet touristic Shirakawa-go.
