A modest minshuku (bed & breakfast) ran by a very sweet, old lady and her husband. I booked a room sized for two people as it was the only one available, but was only charged for one person. She speaks a little bit of English and will help you with the bus times as well as getting to your next location on time; she even drove me to the bus stop in the early morning after some breakfast -- a huge relief with having to carry heavy luggage up hills and limited bus pick up times. Amazing food and hospitality overall. A great way to experience these Gassho-style houses and the rural yet welcoming village.

囲炉裏でじっくりと焼き上げた岩魚の塩焼きに新鮮な歯応えとさっぱりとしたお刺身が旨いこと。地元食材の美味しいお料理と地酒三笑楽をお腹一杯になるまで楽しみました。宿代は驚くほどリーズナブルです。県外の方だけでなく、県内の方にこそ、地元の素晴らしい魅力やおもてなしのノウハウをしっかり認識するために訪れてほしいものです。家屋の造りをもう少し自由に見られると嬉しいです。

外観は相倉の中で１番綺麗です。料理も全てが美味しく、水回りは最新式で使いやすく、お部屋が少しカビ臭かったけど、殆ど気にならない程度です。

房間乾淨舒適，浴室也在室內不用到屋外
主人家招待很熱情，料理超好吃尤其是烤香魚及有加入酒糟的豆腐味噌湯更是一絕

Take a step back in time. Large tatami rooms, nice bathroom/toilet facilities and a wonderful common room with charcoal firepit (used to cook our dinner) where meals are served. English is limited but able to communicate and accommodate, ample parking, last house on the road so less foot traffic than other places. Home cooked delicious meals with local flavor and ingredients. If it just for one night, a must to stay here, especially if there is snow!
