Dinner and service was good. Spacious room with good view, very close to Angel road but Onsen have a little smell of chlorine

Big hotel on Shodoshima island with a variety of activities. Awesome view from all rooms overlooking Angel Road. Delicious dinner and loads of choices for buffet breakfast.

Near to Angel Road. There have light until 10:00 so that you can see the night scene of Angle Road.

A good place to stay. Staff are polite.
They offer free shrubs from and to the Torosho Port. (Reservation is required)

time: january, non-peak season
weather: cold but sunny, no snow, a bit windy
location: can't be better if Angel Road is on your checklist. all rooms are facing this tourist spot and the horizon. 1min walk to Angel Road from the backyard of the hotel. they offer free shuttle bus but it didn't cost me much to take a taxi from the ferry port - probably just 5min or so. there are a big supermarket (grocery store with no ready-cooked food like 7-11) with a 5-7min walk.
hotel: (at least) one staff speaks fluent english. it's weird that i didn't see the pool looking to the sea as in their official website, also a bit odd to see they charge the public bath (indoor) separately on the receipt - altho it's very cheap as far as i remember. there's one very proper souvenir (food) shop and a tiny but great arcade inside the hotel. the public bath is large, two pools but no view.
room: my room was a twin bed with tatami living room coz they don't have single rooms for solo traveller. two big windows. yukata and slippers for public bath available. the a/c and washroom a bit old, and i really didn't like the smell of air refresher/cleaning product - it reminds me of public toilet. other than that everything was great.response / report this review -
