Beautiful blessed tree, the road to get to the tree is a dirt track and you may struggle in a small car. Luckily we had a 4x4 so we managed.
However it seems they are building a new road directly to the tree as well as a mosque.
It is the tree where Buhera Rahab (a Christian Monk) first time gave the glad tiding to Abu Talib about Hazrat Muhammad SAS (when he was taking rest under this tree) that "he will be a Prophet of Allah as he had seen trees & stones bowed down in front of him." This tree is one of the miracles of Allah SWT as it is the only tree standing in the area of 25+ square kilometers.
In The middle of no where experince the eastern desert
I was quite astonished to visit that blessing tree who had witnessed the presence of our beloved Prophet peace be upon him. Definitely one of the living sahabi.
You can turn right after a huge solar cell unit, which is sign call "Al Buqayawiyya" return on your right side. The gps might not be working properly. Happy journey.
Worth the trip to this way out place. Generally good road till the last 1 km. Large stones paved the road. The side paths taken to avoid the stones have deep ruts. Best to go on a jeep or 4WD.
Great place, because the Prophet Muhammad rested here during his age of 12, when he was in a trade trip from Makkah to Syria. This is also known as the blessed tree. For hundreds of Kms there is no single tree in this desert, except this. Christian Monk Bahira identified that this little boy is the last Prophet of Allah, as mentioned in their books. He noticed that the clouds were sheltering him and the trees and stones were prostrating.
It was really great experience to visit it. Now there are solar panels installed before entrance on the road towards the Bless tree. There is no water near by so keep the water with you. If you would like to offer 2 Nafal or Asar there. It’s better to visit in day time.
Its remote; its far and actually nothing else to see except for this tree. However if you know the history of the area and tree, it will make your trip worth it.
Mashallahlucky to see this live tree! May the Almighty Allah give us tawfique to visit.
Rasul Muhammad Sa: sat down under the tree for some time during his Strict travel for business at the age of 12 with uncle the sahabi tree still alive after 1500 years.
Baqiyah biizdnillah!!!! Islamic state Will rise again!!
The blessed tree and surroundings in a peaceful place. You can feel the calmness and the effects of Prophet Jesus peace be upon him and Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, sitting under this place.
The Christian Monk Buhairah told Abu Talib, the uncle of Muhammad peace be upon him, " No one has sat under that tree since Jesus peace be upon him. This boy has all the signs of being the last Prophet. Don't take him to Syria, as Jews might harm him".
Beautiful tree in the middle of the desert where there is no other tree for miles. Visited the tree on 18th of November, so the leaves were falling off. So calm and spiritual place - a must see if you are in Jordan.
Bedouin taking care of the place.
A beautiful old tree that is holy to Muslims. The tree is believed to be the witness of Christian monk named Bahira meeting with the Prophet Muhammad. This tree is still alive ‘alone’ within a radius of hundreds of kilometers, there is no other tree, accompanied the Sahabi.
Stumbled upon this place after seeing a paved road heading out to what looked like nowhere. I'm glad I followed my curiosity. This over 1400 year old blessed tree was a divine stopping point for the prophet Muhammad on his way to Syria
Rememberence of Prophet Muhammad PBUH
