A very good location that's close to the city center with access to the beach through a bridge crossing over the main street. Very good food selection and quality although breakfast can be enhanced. We had some noisy time in the morning with the housekeeping using a loud-noise carpet hoover. We were especially annoyed by the tight corner where the cabin in the bathroom was located. Very nice & friendly staff.

Very comfortable room and great food. The service in The Red Sea Grill was excellent. The grounds , pools ,planting and beach are beautifully maintained . The location is good with both town and beach on hand . Ali on reception was particularly helpful .
Many thanks for a relaxing stay !

The staff at reception, in the lobby and at the breakfast room are all going beyond their way to help, and anticipate your needs. At breakfast they brought me the newspaper of the day after they noticed I was reading one the day before. They also offered me an orange juice as they noted there was no juice on my table. All done with a lovely smile. This warm and professional attitude is what will make me choose to stay at this hotel next time I am in Aqaba.

Clean room, good breakfast. But lost potential in the middle square area besides outside the breakfast area. They should make parties and such in that area. Also the Jacuzzis need maintenance and should probably be custom made instead of these out of the box ready ones. Other than that, the staff is polite and helpful.

We really enjoyed our 3 days stay and we will for sure be back soon. We got a room upgrade and the view was just amazing. we booked 2 rooms and we checked in early at 12 to one of the room, and also were given a late check out at 3 pm ! the beach is so nice and the rooms were clean and relaxing, all employees were friendly and kind.
A special thanks to the lady on the reception. She was very friendly and asked us if we need anything and if we had any concerns.

    The hotel was perfect.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the facilities were very clean.
The pools and beach are very well organized and there's always someone around if you need anything.
I highly recommend staying here and I would love to visit again.

I wish I could give it no stars but I don’t have that option anyway very bad service!! I wasn’t happy with my stay! I needed towels in my room I got them after I shower my kids I had to dry them with the old used towels. The breakfast is nasty seriously nothing is nice and fresh.. the rooms are not clean the lady in the front desk was so rude! Our check in was at 3 the next day you know they put a big sign saying that the check in was at 4 when we got there our rooms weren’t ready we had to hang around for an hour to have them have our room ready it was just bad bad bad first and last time there very bad staff, service, hotel.

We are quite critical on cleanliness and your hotel is very clean. Super that the hotel has its own beach and also is part of the lively centre of Aqaba. Very friendly and professional personnel everywhere in the hotel and we had a delicious dinner ik the Red Sea Grill restaurant. We also enjoyed the professional band in the courtyard, spacious enough for the kids to play around it. We will for sure come back!

We loved many things about our stay. The accommodations, food, beach. We were disappointed with the front desk staff. When we checked in, they described the pools that our family could use and all but the lap pool were open during our entire stay. I couldn't believe they didn't know what was going on in their own hotel. Then when we asked about local foreseeing, we were directed to the Aqaba castle which is also very closed (under renovation for extended period of time) as well as the Aquarium that was also closed.

The service and the room's ammenities were perfect. Also, the breakfast and dinner buffet were delicious. The garden and the path to the beach was very beautiful too. Although I didn't get a sea view room, but the view from my room was good, and I feel fresh air when opening the window.

However, I disliked smelling smoke in the lobby and the corridors, it caused me headache and the smell got stuck to my brain even after getting to my room. Also, I think the shower could be made better to prevent water flowing to the bathroom floor.

Compared to other Movenpick hotels in Jordan it was dissapointing and never worth 5 stars (I would say 3 to 4 stars on international standards). Service staff was friendly and the sea-view is great, but that's the minimum I can expect as a guest. Breakfast hall is crowded and chaotic. Beach is too noisy as there are always boats with loud music nearby and not much room to swim. Infrastructure and the rooms are old and not very clean, the bathroom in our suite was too small compared to the room size. But the worst experience was their hair and nails saloon in the Spa area. Nobody there could speak English and the service was very bad. My girlfriend was desperate after their so-called manicure service, the hygiene standards were just horrible and the results not acceptable. A five year old child with a brush could do better work than these employees there.
Can't recommend for this price at all.

We have been shocked by the quality and everything at this hotel. First the variety and quality of food; therr was only apples served as fresh fruits and nothing that we could give to the baby and then you are not allowed to bring in your own fruits from the market!! The beach is a bit small and with all local boats going around you cant even swim! The rooms are not so clean and it take till.late afternoon to get towels! In addition to that you dint feel that cutlery is clean at all alot of stains and even the waitress clean with same.towel almost all tables during breakfast. The hotel. Furthermore is not family friendly there nothing you could.do with a baby. Overall i am so sorry to say this hotel cant even be rated as.3 stars hotel. Hope it will be improved.

I can only assume the hotel is the only one who really believes they deserve a 5 star rating. This place smells like cigarettes EVERYWHERE YOU GO, the grout in the bathroom is moldy, the water smells like sewage, and it's just all around disgusting. There are stains all over the furniture, the "free mini bar" that they advertise is literally 2 bottles of water in a mini fridge that isn't even turned on. I will give the staff credit for their efforts. They made a great effort to accommodate us, but even with the effort, I certainly will not return.

The place is okay nothing interesting! If you're a man and alone the security there will keep stopping you in every while to ask you : "are you a resident ?" " give us your room number "
Which is so annoying!!! Don't complain for the receptionists because it's useless! My recommendation to go other near hotels they provide better services and with the same amount of the money!

Grandiose reception areas and beautiful gardens count for little when there are so many little failings for the customer.
The room had no slippers, no bathrobe and only two very small water bottles (increased to 5 after the first room clean). The bathroom was decidedly small for a hotel of this grade. There was no assistance up the steps from the luggage screening area to the check-in desk. The first afternoon the beach was dirty with cigarette ends, used cotton buds and full ash trays. Compared with the 4-star Marriott on the Dead Sea I had left a few days prior, the allegedly 5-star Movenpick came out very poorly. The buffet breakfasts & dinners were splendid and the restaurant staff very attentive. However, the failings mentioned above are not acceptable when you proclaim your hotel to have 5-star status.

Great hotel and resort. Very friendly staff. We had booked three double rooms and on check in they offered us a two-story villa upgrade looking the sea for free. Staff here was really exceptional in every aspect. Breakfast selection was awesome with lots of varieties. Swimming pools are quite large and clean. Private beach is good. They also offer paid water sports at moderate prices. Definitely recommend.

Rooms are spacious, but cleanness maintenancelevel and overall quality is not that great. You would expect higher standards from a five star resort.

They lied about the room in the booking having a balcony.
The free mini bar had two 50ml bottles of water Only. I changed to executive suite which was worse. No tv in the inner room. The bathroom had only a bathtub unlike their description in the booking. The same empty mini bar. And a dead pigeon on the balcony. The beach is a long walk. Not a nice hotel. I was walking back to the room with the beach towel when a staff member tried to stop me. Said it is prohibited. Worst hotel ever

Nice hotel but it seems they were overrun with tourists when we went and it was like a zoo. The breakfast is chaotic with people, and there are ravens flying around, grabbing food, and pooping all over the otherwise nice garden setting. Staff was mostly very genuinely courteous but at the restaurant by the beach you can sit for five or ten minutes without anyone even noticing you or bringing a menu.
