A bargain. I didn't really have a choice in what I ordered - I just informed them I was vegetarian and wanted to try their falafel. The actual falafel was delicious, as was the bread, chips and hummus. The service was impeccable but the price was the best aspect of the meal (3 Dinars) with tea. The only downside was that I couldn't finish the meal. Portions should be smaller as I hate to waste food.

I have no idea how this place has under 4 stars. It's everything I want in a restaurant: delicious food, no frills. Hands-down the best falafel we had on our Lebanon/Jordan/Israel trip. Only regret is not eating here more than once! GO!

I absolutely love Hashim restaurant. It is one of my favorite places to to eat in Amman. It is open twenty four hours a day seven days a week. Perfect!

It is a landmark in Amman. Located in downtown Amman close to shops and coffee shops too. There are many dvd shops around it.

This restaurant is a great option for vegetarians and vegans.

Hashem is a main part of the downtown experience.
It’s basically located in an alley but serves lots of people daily. On weekends and weekdays it’s always full. All vegan friendly food: hummus, foul, fatteh, falafel, fries etc. they serve it with pickles and vegetables. Also it’s recommended to order tea with this kind of food. Must visit at least for once in your life.

Great food. Restaurant offers hummus trio with very generous size pitas, falafel, and salad. All very flavorful- definitely a local favorite.

SERVE NO MEAT. I sat down thinking okay this place has pretty good reviews let's check it out. They don't have menus, once again no kind of meat and yes it's pretty much located in an alley. Had hummus, falafel and tea with bread. It was all very filling and surprisingly satisfying to a Texan who loves his steaks. Bottom line, it's good overall and vegan friendly. I payed 3JD for my meal.

Great authentic Jordanian food for a cheap price! The place is always packed with locals and is popular for a reason. For a good cheap spot to get some quick Jordanian eats, go to Hashem restaurant! Highly recommend! According to some of the locals we spoke with, the king has even eaten here! Go eat here NOW!

Food is good. Mostly falafel and humous. The service is fast. The whole place is in an alley so don't be surprised. Great experience, I recommend going.

No fuss restaurant with just simple, but very delicious typical food from the region. We were pleasantly surprised by the price of our meal!

Really interesting location. I tried two types falafel and 4 types of hummus. All were great. Our server was a really old man, who seemed to have worked there forever and was very pleasant. Bread was cold because that's how they serve it. Tea was really good. They don't serve any meat.

good popular restaurant , the food is good and very cheap prices, but it maybe interesting for foreigners not for Syrians, Palestinians, or Lebanese, since they have the same dishes and maybe more tasty

Great authentic food, fastest service ever seen. Pretty crowded and busy. If you're in Amman you've to visit minimum once.

The food is average, many flafel restaurants are better i wonder why they don't make better food as they gained huge reputation

Great food and very cheap. 4 dinar. Only downside might be that there is no menu so you might struggle as a foreigner, but do not fear. They give you all the staples so you dont need a menu anyways.

Great food and a great experience to eat at one of the most popular places in Amman. No menu, so we just pointed to what other people were having that looked good. Falafels and hummus were tasty. Also enjoyed the mint and tomatos

A definite visit for lunch or dinner when in Amman.
No menu and the place is full of locals. Expect no frills, plates or cutlery but do expect great food and fast. Proving you can eat ALL the hummus, falafel and pitta for only 2JD/2£.

Although the food was good there was no menu, and as a non-Arabic speaker it was quite difficult to know what to order. Because it was so busy the waiters did not really have time to help you. We had to queue for a table, but not for very long. The service was efficient and the prices reasonable. This is a vegetarian restaurant.

Hashem was on our Jordan must eat bucket list and it did not disappoint. Excellent Falafels (regular and stuffed). Not crowded when we went (7:30 pm on a Saturday in March). Very reasonable prices.

A good combination between tourists and locals. Cheap prices, and good food. Since it's open 24/7, you can come there to grab a bite, have dinner, or recharge after a night of partying, and you'll feel in place. The restrooms are not that welcoming, especially at night, but consider this a part of the experience.
