Spent several short stays (2-4 Nights) in DDS resort. This is the first hotel on dead sea Jordan side and still is offering excellent comfort and hospitality. Access to sea shore for a mud bath is free, excellent food and nice personnel. Sea sight is a unique experience at sunrinse as well as sunset. Spa services are available.

Nice Hotel.
Clean Rooms, towels for the pool and sea.
People are nice.
Dinner expresive like 20JOD / person.
Very nice "beach"( is very rocky), the water make all the magic.

Nice but old hotel. Many pools with play areas for kids and adults (waterslides!). Dinner and breakfast buffets were nice with lots of options but nothing standing out as excellent.

One of the worst hotels we ever stayed, starting from outside drinks not allowed (got to know while check-in), I know some hotels do follow but common your traveling international and bound to buy drink at duty free, secondly towels in the room were bad, 3) To get Iron Box we called 6 times but still no response and finally we had visit reception but still no response, pathetic room service! 4) Coctail at Aqua bar is below average 5) They have one swiping machine and didn't work during our checkout, we were made to wait for 30 minutes and almost missed flight. Now comes the icing on the cake, they wouldn't let our can driver come inside the hotel due to their policy, after begging them to let him inside, no issue , we walked to the gate with luggage, wow you guys need to win a award for hospitality.

Excellent reception and restaurant staff. Upgraded our room for my wedding anniversary suprise to my wife. View was amazing.After having issues with my key card, the hotel cleaners were not helpfull and made little effort to help. Room service was quick however, cleaners did not clear up the previous days food in the room and this made me question what did they clean.

It's a friendly place, even if some staff seem a little distant at times. It has excellent facilities and I enjoyed the morning yoga session. Breakfast is a good buffet and the week equipped rooms are very spacious.

The food was very mediocre - both the breakfast and the dinner. The wine we ordered for dinner was obviously watered down. The beer and wine prices were insanely expensive.
Other than that, room was clean and had a good view of the Dead Sea.

Hotel located at the beach. A lot of swimming pools. Free mud and showers are available at the beach. Very nice staff. Breakfast is excellent: a lot of choices, fruit salad, many desserts. Hotel do room upgrade upon availability free of charge.

A group of 4 of us come to the Dead Sea Spa for a spa treatment in November. The end result of a very long story is that 3 of us did not receive the services that we paid for, and there was not manager or receptionist around then to see about getting a refund or have the facials performed. The rooms where the services are provided were dungeonesque and filthy. There are really nice spas nearby that are in the same price range, so avoid the Dead Sea Spa at all costs! Beautiful hotel with fantastic facilities and great food! The chef is awesome. The Dead Sea is a must see in Jordan, and this is the best place to do it. Great value for the money as well. Excellent views also!

We had a great stay. Just what we needed!

The spa facilities are amazing, we spent most of our time there, pampering our bodies, relaxing and enjoying. The Dead Sea warm pool is perfect!

The food was great and the atmosphere in the dining room complimented the quiet, tranquil setting of the hotel (ages18 and up!).

The staff is very kind and helpful, we enjoyed being cared by professional people.

We left feeling rejuvenated and uplifted, even more than expected.

Highly recommended!!

The hotel was pleasant with all well in the room and in general. Note that the room was tidied but not cleaned daily unless requested.
The breakfast was good and in general the hotel seemed relatively quiet.
The beach was great with free mud!

Beautifu! Thats the word. So luxurious

The buffet (very important) was excellent. Lots of variety and great selection of confectionery. The rooms are excellently well conditioned. Two main adult pools and three for children- and a big slide! (The water is a tiny bit warm, because it was august, 40°). There is a nice cafe and musicians play music at night. The wifi is a bit hard to connect to though. There is a fantastic, big and clean Gym with a gift shop next to it. Overall great stay!

This place was amazing. Had many pools and direct private access to the dead sea to float around in. The food was so awesome. We had this one dish, chicken and rice and we couldn't get enough of it. It was like home made food. So damn good. Lost a star because one of the staff would not serve me an alcoholic beverage, said they couldn't do it outside?? Meanwhile a male got served a beer while sitting 2 metres away from me in the same outside spot? Weird.
The Dead Sea: You know what, it really exceeded our expectations and had other hidden ones. First off- do not, I repeat, do not be a wannabe warrior and dip your head under because the salt will own you. Secondly, it was hot! It was about 40 degrees outside of water and 30 degrees in! Weird. Also, you do float, like more than half of your body is out of the water and it's like an invisible large hand is pushing you up, it's nearly impossible to stand up or stay standing. There are no lifeguards because really you don't need one. And lastly, don't be stubborn and try to sink, this sea will win all the time! It was weird. And one last thing, when I rubbed my stomach to make sure it was still there, it was slimy or ultra slippery. Once you're in for 5-10 min the stinging gets worse, men and women! Just my observations You should definitely go have a float And have fresh water nearby, you get thirsty real quick, you're bound to come across some hard headed mate who dips their head in and need that fresh water to help out. There were available buckets full of mud to cleanse yourself in. The rule was to soak in the dead sea for 20min, get out and get the mud on you, leave it on for another 20min, then go clean it off in the sea. Your skin will be different, better!

The hotel has decent pools and good beach access. However, there are no showers available if you only get a day pass to the beach or pools.

customer service is disgraceful.
I checked it yesterday on Sunday and will checking out on Tuesday the 7 February.
Sunday morning I booked online abd the invoice was not clear that the breakfast is included or not so I called them . front desk transferred me to the reservation . Reservation confirmed that breakfast is included . I checked in between 12-1 pm while checkin in I asked the front desk about the breakfast the guy said yes it's included . Next morning I went to the crystal restaurant as soon as I enter they said that I have to pay for the breakfast . I explained the guy he called someone then he said that I can eat it's alright . While I was having breakfast he interrupted me and asked me to sign the invoice I said to him I will go with him and speak to manager after breakfast .

I finished breakfast went and saw the manager Deep explained him the situation he said that he will let me know in ten minutes . I was waiting no one called me I went at the reception after 30 min front desk called him he walked in and said that I have to pay for the breakfast . I said no worries.

I don't the people are very aggressive and most of them want to argue for no reason not willing to help .

I reckon they should learn customer service specially when they are in hospitality industry .

I would rate them zero out of five for being dishonest even -5 for the customer service it's not a cheap place .

Internet is so slow not worth f money I spent .

Overpriced, aging hotel.
This place has yellow sheets that don't fit the bed. The beach towels look like rags. The beach is old, unattractive and the outdoor showers don't seem to work.
The pools aren't heated.
The staff aren't interested in the customers.
I would suggest you stay somewhere else and pay a day fee to access the beach.

This place has xray machines to check your bags for food and water. The prices of food in this hotel is sky high. A mall about a 15 minute walk away has a couple or restaurant that do good food.

Breakfast is grand.
