Village is very basic. Absolutely not three stars. But the location, the pool, the place itself is very nice.
My advice is that if you want to stay here, you should have a car so that you can go to Aqaba to have your meals and shop.
If you don't , it's better to book a hotel in the town. One more thing is the price, this place is very cheap and over all you get more than you pay .
But is good place to learn dive & snorkeling and enjoy in Japanese garden under water.

Great place. The rooms are cozy and clean, the staff is nice, there's a pool.
The only thing that isn't enjoyable, however, is the breakfast. It's a tad bit dry, and the omelet is fried with too much oil. Other than that, like I said, the place is great.

Very friendly, international and helpful enviroment. Specially we enjoy the help and recommendations of Ali. Also nice facilities to relax in the night and close to the beach.
Clean rooms, but the maintenance of the rooms could be improved.

The idea of a hotel made of separate small buildings is just great. They are variously colored and there's a few places to spend evenings with friends. The service is very nice, treats Bedouin tea and does more just to make sure visitors will come again. The hotel is close (about 100m) to the sea and coral reef. Recommend this place!

Five stars because of the very friendly staff and the service they provide.
Also the location for snorkeling/diving in one of the best reefs in the Red Sea. 300m from the hotel - you just swim right in to a magical paradise!!
By common standards Due to the facilities it is a 2-3 star hotel.
But if you love the relaxed and friendly hippie-style resort - this is the PERFECT place for you!!

Reasonably priced. I have been here twice. First time, it was so good. Second time though was a disappointment. Our breakfast was extremely poor. Old hummus served on very dirty plates. Jam and butter cups were old, opened and melted. Kitchen staff didn't even bother to apologize when we pointed out their poor service.

I worked there for a while and were able to look behind the facade.
All in all it is disgusting and inhuman.

The manager treats his employee like garbage, shouts at them, is rude and pays some of them not as much as promised.

The only thing that counts is: money.

Having been able to see how he humiliates the employee (me included) and not showing nothing but arrogance

Furthermore, while I was there step by step things got stolen by a work mate who still denies to give it back.

Kitchen:
Conditions are without any words.
With my own eyes I could than once that the chef put up a fallen down cullterly and just put it back in the box.

There is so much more you could say about this Bedouin 'Garbage' Village.

So think twice before you want to go there.

Appealing laid back hippie like atmosphere. Friendly staff. Appliences kind of make-shift, stains on sheets, pool tiny. But the price is right and you are close to the beach (not very clean beach, watch out for broken glass). No tea served at breakfast, need to request hot water.

A short walk to the beach where you can snorkel but the coral is very sharp so wear shoes in the water. The owner set our small group of 10 up with a very reasonably priced tour to Petra and Wadi Rum. We paid around $60 per person for two days transportation in 3 taxis to Petra and Wadi Rum from Aqaba, plus a half day tour of Wadi Rum and an overnight accommodation in the desert. Would do it all again in a heartbeat.

A quiet little oasis, not perfect but very chilled and peaceful. Just across from the coral reef and stunning sunsets over the Red Sea.

The owner is so laid back he's horizontal and usually found in the garden Bedouin tent contemplating the open fire and the pool beyond.

The cook will talk you through his specialities and even give a cooking lesson.Don't miss the Chicken Gallayah, it is truly the best in Jordan.

Malik is front of house, funny, patient and so very helpful. A font of knowledge, always busy and always around. He will go that extra mile, I could have taken him home
