Great service, especially if you want an authentic local experience without the restrictions of an all inclusive

The room decor needs to be updated ASAP (furniture, working flat screen tv's, working room wi-fi, and small appliances(refrigerators, microwave, and coffee maker) would make this property more appealing. Need extended lighted pool hours, as well as hot water to bathe in the morning. Lastly, the complimentary breakfast was good but cold, I wished it was served hot, as well as offer more kid friendly items. Despite these issues, I would have no trouble staying here again. Wonderful staff who knew your name not just your room number. Felt very personal versus the cookie cutter big box all-inclusives.

A quaint hotel located on Jimmy Cliff Boulevard (more popularly known as Bottom Road). It seems to have lost much of it's luster perhaps due to competition form nearby properties. They offer reasonable wedding hosting packages well within budget for the money conscious.

Sometimes you have to ignore the reviews and experience things for yourself. Staff is super friendly, breakfast is wonderful, as for the hotel I enjoyed my stay. #Great.

We only stayed the one night before our return to Canada. The location was great on the hip strip and especially close to the airport. The room was spacious and had great views everything else was just ok. They didn't have the dinner we desired that night nor any variety. So we went next door for dinner. I wasn't impressed with the Wexford at all.

Beautiful grounds. Lots of Jamaican native flowers. Clean hotel with lots of staff. This is a Jamaican owned hotel.

Well I will say this a lot was so wrong with this hotel and some of the staffThe pictures on their site must be very oldBecause our first room look like something from Bates MotelOur phone didn't work and our t.v was so old you could not get a good pictureBut on the website it said flat screens! Once we went and put in our complaint with one of the managersShe quickly changed our room, Even gave us a dinner at the restaurant for my birthdayAnd I was thankful for thatIt suck because the waterfall outside was never on our whole 5 day stay and I'm guessing it didn't workThe outdoor pool was not openThis Hotel needs a lot of improvements! For the most part we enjoyed ourselves with what we had to work withMost of the staff was so nice! But it will not be a place to come back and stay for usWe travel all the time and stay at the Best of the Best HotelsLike Hilton, Crown Plaza etc. and pay less for the price we paid here! Hopefully the owner's will improve their Hotel asap! Because the bed linens, towels, etc. need replacing! The Bar area needs an upgrade tooI have Never been to a bar that didn't have some table and chairsPeople had to sit outside with their drinks because it was no more room at the bar! So I hope this helps someone next time I go to MB I will definitely be at one of the resorts!

Place is run down and dirty The room is bare.. Nothing much in there.. No lil table, TV channels are awful.. No closet.. The room overlooks the strip so it's VERY noisy. Food is terrible (though breakfast was kinda decent).
Only plus and the reason it got 2 stars and not 1 The staff we interacted with were nice.

Rooms very tired. Bedding and towels drab and was far from been white which is what they should be. Beds are awful.
Safe had no key in either of the two rooms we booked so we were having to take all our valuable with us at all times. Receptionist told us person in charge of keys died and have not been replaced, shocking.
Staff were all great and location is good.
Sort this hotel and make it a great place to stay.
Would not recommend for the above reasons. 1.5 stars from me.report this review -

I stayed here January 6-8, 2017. very unhappy with the service I received worst hotel I have been to. Would I recommend people? No way. why? purchase of there menu they change the price daily thats, we'll everyone has their own price "tourist robbery" . Booked ocean view and got a room facing the garden, when I spoke with them, the respond was that they would change it the following day but when I mention about refund they quickly moved. I got it change. Went on the road told the housekeeping lady I needed my room to clean came back it did not clean. Place is run down,dirty shower curtains,wifi really really poor. Workers seems like they have no idea what to do. It's good to get experience I won't be looking back at that direction.

The Wexford Hotel is a nice place to stay. I didn't know anything about Wexford Hotel the driver recommend the hotel. The young ladies at the desk were very pleasant and didn't even give me attitude when I asked to see the room first because I'm very particular about the bathroom. The young lady said to me yes you can look and you will like it and for sure I did. I stay 5 nights and the breakfast everyday was good and the the housekeeper very pleasant. I would recommend the Wexford Hotel to my friends and family. ❤👏💯

This place is beyond disgusting. It's the 21st century you ppl need to upgrade your services. The only two goods about this hotel is the hot water and the outside. And take down those pictures your bedrooms looks ntn like those, there are no white sheets and towels made into ducks. The elevator is small and foul odor, needs painting and all. The walls on floors needs painting. The doors on the rooms needs changing. You can wax the floors to make them shiny and more inviting. The shower heads needs changing they are sold cheap cheap at Mega Mart, the tiles in the bathroom needs changing and please please for heaven sakes throw away those bad coloured so call white towels. I was wondering why some ppl wanted to change rooms when I was checking in and now I see why. Ppl were checked in and given room keys yet still the bed wasn't spread and the pillows all over the place and the towels weren't in as yet. You have to sign at the front desk to use an iron and then return same and sign. This place on the in side looks like a motel instead of a hotel. It was built in 1977 please tell your Directors to spending out the company's money and fix up the place. Thank you.

Very very very poor
The staff was horrible. Upon check in my husband and I had to wait over an hour to get our room key. We got the key and it was the complete opposite of what we had requested being that it was our anniversary. And even then we had to wait another hour to get the correct room. We got to the room and the AC was not working. We decided to chill out at the pool and that was out of order. The remote controller for the tv was not working, the plug for the bathroom sink was not working. I absolutely hated my experience at this hotel and I speak for my husband that he feels worst. My main issue was the staff, extremely slow with absolutely no customer service skills. They need to hire new staff especially for the front desk.report this review -

This is worst experience EVER!!! Staff was very unprofessional and service very disappointing. After pre-booking and then confirming w/payments in person on the day of arrival, we decided later we would return to lodge. We were unable to do so as the hotel placed persons in our paid/reserved rooms. This disgrace furthered as there was no one to fix this or refund us, hence we angrily slept in the vehicle. Later that morning we found another place.
I would never recommend anyone here.

Stayed here for my friend's birthday and it was enjoyable, I wouldn't say 5 stars but the price isn't 5 stars so that explains that, room wasn't ready when we got there, waited a while and it was humid, when we got upstairs still wasn't ready haha but it was a very cool escape from the heat and the ceilings are high which was nice, it was a back room which was decent, not much view per say, a/c and Wi-Fi and complimentary breakfast which was good, overall it was cozy enough bathroom was clean and it was close to the hip strip. I'd go again.
