Very nice place. But far out of the way. If you would like a quiet plantation-style hotel to relax at with not a lot of traffic not a lot of local involvement great place staff is really courteous beautifully laid-out hotel for a place to get away you just want to spend some time with your loved ones your family your wife and you alone I would highly recommend, but if you are looking for a place for the children and the family not so much

Very relaxing, if your looking for real peace & quiet this is the perfect spot. If you're a lover of art this is definitely the place for you. The staff is very friendly & courteous. Big up yourself Travis & Jordan.

The property has the potential to be magnificentit just needs some updating. The staff are very nice and try to be as accommodating as possible. I went exploring and wanted a place to stay. I had stayed at the hotel before and had seen a special rate advertised on the net so went to enquire. The receptionist was most rude, she did not even complete the conversation with us. A call came in, she turned her back and ignored us! I was shocked beyond belief! The funny thing is that we were prepared to stay there..but with that reception we left! Thank God other establishments in Portland were quite the opposite and my faith in Portland hospitality was quickly restored! We've lost faith in this establishment. Wouldn't stay there..will not recommend it!

No sure what to say about this place. A real let down, customer service is ok, property is well kept but the environment and rooms need a lot of work. I mean a lot of work. Seems like the furniture haven't been thoroughly cleaned in decades.

Spent a stop over lunch day there, and the staff was wonderful. Wifi, food was excellent, and the area beautiful.

Poor customer service, rooms are terrible.. if you are taller that 5 ft you won't be comfortable sleeping on the bed.
