Good customer service,temperature check and hand sanitizing station at the entrance.They have a wide variety of goods but not everything over all experience was 4 star quality 👌. Could be better.

Stewarts is my go to place for hardware supplies. They have better prices and quality compared to other hardware stores in Clarendon. There is usually a floor person nearby to provide assistance when needed. I like the store but I think could use a deep cleaning and an updated look.

Nice family hardware. Has most of what you would need at a reasonable price. Very helpful and friendly staff, though more staff is needed on the showfloor to assist customers.

To be positive, the attendants were helpful. In that they helped to find the goods you wanted but they were not smiling. On entering the establishment there was not one smiling face to welcome shoppers. The cashiers were the worst. They give no information on what to do if you were buying cement or grout. You had to ask. If it was your first time st Stewarts you would be confused.
Suggestions on how to improve:
The security guards are the first people you meet at the front. Pay them something extra to smile and say "Welcome to Stewart" or get someone else to do it. With a SMILE please.
The climate of your store is not warm. Its dead. Play some background music or something or have some big screen TV showing something about building, gardening etc.
Communication is important. The cashiers need training. They are not friendly, they don't give you information as what to do next. Yesterday the cashier who attended to me gave me no information on where to get the thin set. She gave me no information about bags. No information on where to go next and worst of all walked away from the computer and left me standing there not knowing what to do next. Poor customer service. At the back, I was suppose to get three things and I left with 2. They gave me the thin set after about 15 minutes and no grout. I know as a customer I should have checked but they were given the receipt. The supervisor checked to see if everything was there and yet when I got home, no grout.
Supervision needs to be improved.
Stewarts has a name to protect..Stewarts can be the best store in May Pen. Improve the shopping experience.

My visit was terrible, the cashier charge me for something I didn't buy, then she did not apologise for her mistake but had and attitude with me for her mistake. Customer service is always terrible at Stewart in May Pen.

Convenient general hardware. One stop for all your building supplies plus lawn and garden center. Staff can be helpful and some are fairly knowledgeable. Checkout lines can involve some waiting time but nothing unbearable.

Everytime i go here something cash wrong. I went today picked up a measuring cup and a broom among some other items. When I go out to leave the broom never cash but I couldn't turn back as I was in a hurry. Now when i reach home check me receipt is two measuring cup dem cash but a one me pick up. What the hell was the lady at the receipt area checking then. She never see seh a one cup and a two cash but she see seh the broom never cash. They not doing their job at all. And me kno a problem tomorrow when I go to either get the next cup or pay the difference to get the broom. Like me wudda want thief dem little cup. ($185)
Everytime me go something no cash right. My fault still. I trusted them to be competent but I should be more vigilant. Kmt
