I was traveling with my family last week to Jamaica for my 10 year anniversary. Since there were so many of us together (around 40) me and my husband decided to renew our vows. We decided this literally the week before. It was impossible to get anything at the resort so I looked on the tourism of Jamaica website and Sharkies was one of their recommendations. I emailed them and they replied back the next day. Within 24 hours everything was booked and ready. We were able to renew our vows on the beach and enjoy wonderful food as well. Everyone loved the food and the boats and local dogs made the pictures come out wonderful. The staff was so nice and welcoming and the Sharkies Jerk sauce was so great. I need to figure out how to get some shipped here. This was the perfect place and I would recommend everyone to go visit them anytime you are in the area.

Great seafood fresh out of the water. Came down to Jamaica with family everyone enjoyed thier meals. Ordered Curry Conch it took the longest to come out the kitchen and it was a little chewy. Over all great restaurant, real Jamaican experience.

I had a beautiful start to our family outing starting with the the Green Groto cave excellent. Then my husband decides to stop at this place..wrong choice..Never again. We waited nearly an hour until our food arrived, we saw guest come after us and GOT served before use. My 10 yr old kept say why so long I had to reassure him soon. Then our good arrived I had jerk chicken sandwich with fries. Unbelievable what a wasteful title. It was awful the fries were dried up and the jerk chicken had NO JERK on it. Such disappointment. My son and husband had steam fish and enjoyed it. Usually we take home the crapps for the dog. On this occasion I chose not to. It would have been an insult to my guard dogs.
Sharkies staff fix up. To many staff and not enough people paying the customers attention. I truly can not recommend you for other tourist to come and eat here shocking no thank you ever again. I would of given you NO STARS

I called the day before my birthday to basically let them know I am celebrating my birthday. They told me nicely yes they do recognize individuals celebrating their birthday. So i decided to decline going to any other restaurants to celebrate my birthday. When I reach on the day they put me to sit at a table with no lights and so I requested to go to another table which was dirty. So that was already a BAD START. So feeling really small and out of place I requested that instead of eating I would like to take the food. Honestly I was hurt to the core. When the guy came with the food and I reach to the hotel no rice ws in any of the boxes😞. Honestly I have never felt so low in my life especially on my birthday. thank u Would not recommend someone going there to dine.

This place is amazing The seafood here is on point. It's a restaurant right next to the ocean and the sensory is absolutely beautiful. I would recommend anyone to visit this place as soon as possible if you love seafood.

The food was descent and the beach view was pleasant. However we waited over an hour for our food, even though we dined at 2:30 pm pm. Three other families left due to delays. The service was also poor with left-out orders and sloppy presentation. I would not return.

Generally very good food. Waiting times can be rather long, especially on weekends. Normally, starting with a sea food soup eases the wait for the main course

Wait time was ridiculously long, food was pleasing to the eyes. Had the curry snapper, it was just ok. I felt the curry was too strong, hence a bit bitter.

Seafood here is generally good the wait to be served though is Krazy long. So if you hungry and what food right away, maybe not the best place to choose especially on a Friday night. But the atmosphere is calm, relaxing and generally quite with the ocean only a few steps away.

One of the Worst Seafood Restaurant in Jamaica. Long wait, rude staff, Overpriced ordinary seafood. Don't waste your money. Curry shrimp and the bammy are the only passable dishes.

Highly disappointingly and poor service my children waited over 2 and a half hours for jerk chicken and chips, whenever i would ask whats going on they would say in 5 mins in 5 mins, in the end i said forget it.
When i complained to the manager she didnt care.

Just be prepared to wait for your order, which we were and we did with no problem. If your in a rush or starving hungry then you won't get your food in a hurry.which was fine for us as we were none of the above and it's fresh food being prepared from scratch.

We paid, $9,640JD (roughly £75 sterling), for 6 meals, a few sides, a drink and X2 fish teas. Expensive?? Not really, make of it what you will, for us just we just wanted fresh fish, lobster and conch so the price was not too much to ask for.

The hostess was very helpful, she took us to choose our fish before it was cooked and then hooked us up to the wifi to use while we waited for those who wanted it. The rest of our party went for a stroll on the beach, so the time we waited seemed to just fly.

And I must say the food was absolutely delicious and we'll worth the wait. We encountered a mix of locals but mostly tourists eating here. Overall a pleasant experience.

This place was a disappointment. We waited almost 2 hours before being served. The waitress was not pleasant. She skipped my table and served another first. This place is for people who lives in Jamaica and has no life. Decent working people should not go here to eat. I would not recommend this restaurant. I ordered a stew fish dinner and it was filled with sugar, as well as I was given half a fish rather than a whole. They hid it with vegetables. It was dark outside, so I did not notice. Thumbs down.👎👎👎👎👎👎
