Succulent Jerk Chicken with festival and fried sweet potato sooo delicious. Also serves soup, Jerk Pork and other Jamaican delights. Sheltered outdoor seating area, free parking and clean washrooms.

🇯🇲 We always make it a point to pay a visit usually driving from Sandy Bay just for dinner or a snack. We really appreciate the time they take to make quality food and not just rush it through! 🤤

Standard has fallen drastically. Food needs to be properly seasoned, chicken didn't taste good and was also dry. Employees at the serving counter looks confused. Place just needs proper management. I must say I will not return to this establishment, neither will I recommended anyone!

The quality of the food varies. When It's good it's really good. Other times it's tolerable. It's better to go there at peak times. The line is longer and so is the wait, but the food is fresher.

Food was sooooo good. Jerk chicken/Jerk pork, bar definitely a go-to spot in Jamaica. Go early as this place gets packed fast! Sit at the bar or covered seating areas. Either way, you won't be disappointed. Place your order, pick up order, find a seat. It's simple. Open kitchen as well so you can watch the food being prepared. This is an outdoor spot, covered mostly.

This is a great place for authentic Jamaican jerk. It gets a lot of tourists. I love the jerk pork sausage but overall the food is usually very good. Nice ambiance. Casual and relaxing

Stopped here after 9 Mile. Ordered 1/2 chicken, 1/4lb pork, 6 wings, large rice & peas (beans), corn or the cob, slice bread, 2 Pepsi 20oz, a water for 25usd. Chicken was tender, juicy, and spicy. The pork was a bit tough, but good, could have used a few more hours. Wings were delicious. Parking was limited inside the fence and patrolled. Seating was out doors under gazebos in a garden setting. Full bar too.

Scotchies was nice overall. The food was great, especially the jerk pork. The facility is kept clean, the bathroom fresh n the staff was warming. The waiting period to receive food was not long. Nice chill spot

Walked from a resort 15 mins away. Do not believe guy almost got robbed. I'm white from Toronto.

Any way. Good bar. 3$ beer. Decent . Jerk good pork bit dry. Festival pretty good but oily. Wings were great . Most like back home. Good luck.

Would not recommend. Almost got robbed and bullied by a homeless man while eating at their restaurant. Serving is small and expensive.

Can't go wrong with Scotchies. Chicken was nice and juicy. All the food was well prepared and nicely smoked.
Only complaint is that it got so busy and they are not organized when it is busy. Had to wait forever for the food.

Great place to get real jerk. You have to put the jerk sauce on yourself so don't forget to get it at the counter. Lots of parking and drinks are available as well.

Enjoyed the jerk chicken, it was very moist. The festival wasn't the best I've ever had but it was edible. Atmosphere was very alive, people chatting and enjoying themselves.

I will give them credit for their jerk pork. Lean, succulent pieces served. The jerk chicken waaan soak like likkle more, though it's good, can be better.
Maybe in the peak hours, 2 cashiers would be good. Or more servers, whichever works out better.

Staff was extremely polite and makes you feel welcome. Atmosphere was tropical and gave you the expected island feel.

Yes the jerk chicken is spectacular but I enjoyed the jerk pork ten fold more. So if you make it off your cruise or resort and make it to scotchies, get both the jerk chicken and pork. You won't be disappointed.

I thought the food was great but my wife complained that the pork was a bit dry and that they let the food sit of the heat for too long and it was cold. Still a great place for some authentic jerk chicken or pork.

Fabulous food. Wonderful seating and ambience. Only slight complaint lighting a bit dim at night. I like to see what I am eating. They've overdone it a bit on the mood lighting!

Some of the best jerk pork I've ever tasted. Relaxing, shaded tables and staff who treat you like family. Can get a little smokey at times.

I come here each time I come to Jamaica and since the first time I've been here the restaurant has gotten progressively worse. Terrible customer service I've experienced! Long wait times for food. Overpriced for a quarter chicken.
We ordered 3 seperate meals and happened to pay on one bill and asked for 3 containers for ketchup they only gave one, asked a second time and they said its one container to half a chicken. These containers are small dipping cups. IMPOSSIBLE to share amongst 3 people. After spending so much on food I couldn't believe they were so stingy about ketchup!

A must stop if you are visiting or passing through Ocho Rios. Their slogan "Pigs welcomed here" Is justified by their exquisitely prepared jerk pork. Jerk chicken and jerk sausages, yams, etc also available.

Jerked chicken was good and the side orders were well prepared as well. Quantity was adequate and the taste was a lil above average. Service could have been quicker but overall good experience.
