The rating is actually overrated I would like to give it a 0 rating. The only good thing about this place is the setting , nicely decorated that was the only positive thing about this place,
The waitress was very unprofessional and didn’t use her initiative you had to ask for things that were obviously needed. I ordered the jerk lamb and rice and peas, the rice was cold and the lamb was tuff like old boots.

I went here with my friends. The ambiance is nice and the vibe is just great. Live band on Saturday nights is always good. And if you love to sing go on a Thursday for Karaoke night

Glen was my server. He's knowledgeable and very good at his job. However the dinning needs a uplift. The chicken isn't jerk in my opinion and the hot sauce has alot of water in it. So its not really a jerk restaurant it's a cousin to jerk.

First let me start by saying this place is absolutely a disaster don't waste your money here go elsewhere the service here is poor, the staff seemed unhappy for the most parts. I was scared. I brought my lady here on one of our first dates. I almost lost her because of this place. It wasn't busy, our server took everything we ordered to our very small table all at once, appetizer and main course meal and to add to that he didn't return to our table until everything was all done. We had to be eating our cold meal around empty dirty appetizer serving plates. The live music was good however. The Environment was welcoming for the most part unlike our unpleasant server who only seemed interested to serve us as we were living after our horrible experience and tipped him.

While visiting Kingston, Jamaica I had a really great experience at this restaurant.
A wide variety of food was on offer, great selection of drinks and all at excellent prices. Live entertainment made the visit special, the owners and staff of this establishment went out of their way to make everyone feel very welcome indeed. Highly Recommended!!

Great service. Nice backyard vibe. The jerk is nice. I appreciate the live band playing is such a relaxed setting. This gem was a surprise from the moment we turned into the car park.

Has that in the backyard vibe. You don't care if the tables are close or if every now and then you have to wait a little longer. The food is amazing! And the live band has an energy that just won't stop. Definitely a place for everyone!

Went there in last day of restaurant week 2017. The good was great, the band was great; the whole ambiance was great. One issue though, they need more rest rooms for patrons and parking.

I ordered the ribs which were DELICIOUS ! Food came out in good time too. I went on a Tuesday night when they had live music. That was entertaining, however the music was WAY too loud. I could hardly have a conversation with my group of friends nor speak to our server. We left with hoarse voices.
Our server was ok. I didn't have enough time to read through them menu and I felt rushed to order. The guy kept prompting us to read through the menu when we asked questions about the food while still putting on the pressure for us to order quickly. I'd go back on a different night. . Hopefully with a different server.

JoJo's really impressed me so I had to give 5 stars. Went there with my boyfriend and he can be quite the critic but he had no complaints! The food and drinks were amazing! Had manish water, stamp and go, steamed fish, jerk chicken pasta and piña colada. The server was super friendly-Sandy and she kept us up to date as to the progress of our food. It was a Friday night so was expecting a long wait but surprisingly we didn't have to wait long for our food. The price was reasonable as well. Would definitely recommend Jojo's and will definitely return.

We had a fabulous night out here with friends. The food is good, the staff is friendly, the crowd is terrific and the music is outstanding. Great atmosphere. The night we were there a big table of ladies was celebrating a baby shower! Not to be missed if you are in Kingston for a couple days.

3rd time here. Paid for food and drinks (receipts for proof) shady people charged things to me which I refused to pay for. Got hot in the face and knocked to the ground by staff Locals will verify I paid for everything. Joele Matthews and his "manager" did this and don't care. If you aren't a local, don't go here. American embassy is involved.

The food was exceptionally good in taste. The portion was a bit smaller than I was anticipating. I ordered the baby back ribs. I would add that the waitress could have been a bit more patient. We felt rushed.. overall it was a good experience. I plan on coming again in the near future.

This was an absolutely wonderful restaurant to go to during our trip to Jamaica. The best jerk pork I've had in my life. They had a live band. The drinks were great too. The service was excellent period will visit again on my return.

I was there to celebrate after my friend won a volleyball championship game. We had an awesome time. It's a rustic open air feel with live music and good Jamaican food and super friendly staff. Very casual environment. They have WiFi and they take master card 💳 and serve a wide variety of drinks. There is also a lot of parking too.

I ordered the jerk chicken pasta as well as the BBQ ribs. The wait time was okay to receive the hot meals, but I could have waited longer if it was to taste better. It's a decent place to chill with friends and have a drink.

Went for restaurant week so I exercised more patience than normal. The parking was a little lacking but hey! Where in Kingston can you get great parking. The menu had good selections and the wait for food wasn't horrible and the service was commendable. My cons: the cornbread crumbled at the slightest touch and though I ordered a dessert which was supposed to have brownie topped with ice cream, I got brownie shards with ice cream. I would come back another time but after I've reacquainted my taste buds to what actual brownie tastes like! Oh yeahthe ribs - the rub was a touch too salty and obvious. Maybe our pieces didn't get all the excess shaken offmaybe. Another time will tell..

Jojo's is a nice place to hang out. However, I found their food to be just okay. There are cheaper options around town with a better taste. When I was there, smokers were at the bar and the wind took their smoke towards my table. Allowing smoking in the open is definitely a deal breaker for me.
