This location and ambiance is beautiful and romantic. My significant other and I had a relaxing time on our getaway. The villa we stayed had a lovely view of the Rio Grande River which was the icing on the cake. Love it!

A really nice scenic b&b on a budget. My partner and I stayed 2-nights at the end of February. We enjoyed our stay in Rm 2 (the ocean view). For the most part our villa was clean and cozy, keep in mind your surrounded by trees and plantation so at night you'll find ants crawling, fleas in and out but the bed comes with a net to sleep comfortably in. We didnt need it at all and only encountered 1-2 small mosquitos. The AC and fan helped with the bug control. Our room also came with TV with a variety of movies and shows, wifi, microwave and fridge. But we spent most our time outdoors at the poolside patio overlooking the Rio Grande river, and inside the lobby reading books they provide.
Our host, Andrea, was very friendly and accomodating. She helped us with our excursions to Port Antonio, Blue Lagoon and Frenchman's Cove and also organized a ride for us back to the airport. Every morning, we had amazing breakfast, juice, tea/coffee. In the evening, we would tune into the music coming from a club nearby so we'd have a beer by the bar and chill. Be prepared to sleep through the background noise as it goes til sunrise - we didnt mind. And the locals here are welcoming.

This location and ambiance is beautiful and romantic. My significant other and I had a relaxing time on our getaway. The villa we stayed had a lovely view of the Rio Cobre River which was the icing on the cake. Love it!

This place is a perfect honeymoon spot or great for getting away, the views is beautiful, the deck in which you eat breakfast the view is outstanding and there is also a river on the property. Its my go to place , the service is also great and the staff is friendly. I would recommend anyone to come here , you will love it.

Gorgeous views of the river and mountains. Complimetary breakfast on a terrace that overlooks Rio grande. Pool was nice and clean and our 5 year old enjoyed it. Rooms were clean and nice with WiFi. Reasonable rates for a family of three. Restaurant onsite is by reservation only so we had to go down to the craft market in Port Antonio to eat. Just a ten minute drive thru town. Would definitely stay again

most beautiful view of the Rio Grande river. very tranquil and peaceful. The pool was very relaxing, stayed in there for hours. nice weekend get away also perfect for family gathering.

Very lovely place to stay! The rooms are comfortable, the staff are friendly and warm. The property is beautiful with all the exotic plants and flowers. Mango and Guava tree is also on the property; so you can try a few while you stay. You get to eat breakfast on the patio over looking the Rio grand river. Did I mention breakfast is good ! It's worth staying at this villa

I've stayed at Rio Vista so many times. Sharon is an amazing chef and the staff are lovely. I've enjoyed this little gem with my children when they were in their teens. Just a special place.

Best location, view, and staff. Amazing food too!
Have Barbara cook you a meal, it is the tastiest I've ever had!!! The staff knows all of the gorgeous beaches and activities and will make reservations for you. There are wild lizards and tree frogs that peek out to say hello as well. The view of the mountains, river, rain forest and ocean is breath taking, as are the stars at night. The garden and architecture are very cute. They take very good care of you here, even staying late if you have a problem.Best saltfish and akee in Jamaica! The location is wonderful too since this is right in the middle of the most beautiful parts of Jamaica. The resort and town have very few tourists too so it is a nice intimate experience. The rooms need some small repairs but it is a great price and everything else is perfect so all worth it!!!response / report this review -
