Amazing host who cooks for free if you bring him the ingredients. If not pay him for ingredients and he will shop and cook for free and he knows how to cook. We were rained in when I was there, so happy I ended in this hostel where the hos was so nice
Yeah mon it's great
Stefano is following his dreams in making this hostel a reality. If you are open minded and easy going, you will love this place.
Dirty, we saw cockroages, dirty toilets, disgusting shower. We left a night before. Don't go there!
First it as internet to interest u it black in the neighbourhood no volens
We stayed at Porty Hostel in January 2017. It's a HoStel, no typical Hotel, but it provides also a double-room, we rented. Porty Hostel is located direct in Port Antonio, so you have the full feeling and sound of a bustling town (exept car noise). The owner Stefano and the staff Michelle (housekeeping/kitchen) and Chris (nightguard) are awesome people. It is quite clean, but you can not always wipe after all guests. Porty Hostel is for young and open-minded people, who like to come in contact with locals. The breakfast including free coffee or tea ist okay for the price. You can make free coffee or tea during the day. We enjoyed our stay at Porty Hostel. Blessings from Switzerland to Stefano, Michelle and Chris . ;)
I have stayed at the hostel for a week, back in 2015. The place was clean and welcoming, with a massive front door to make all the guests feel safe during their stay.
The hostel owner was friendly, honest and helpful- since he is living in Jamaica for years now, he had good recommendations of where to go, what to see, and how to address Jamaica.
The owner Stefano is cool but this is a place to go if you are stranded and need a dirt cheap place to stay instead of an expensive resort.
Nice hostel
