Papine Park it not suited for a leisure/relaxation time with family and friends. Seating is limited. It is primarily used as thoroughfare when walking from one side of the town to another. Persons travelling by public transportation to Mavis Bank may wait there as the buses park in close proximity. Also, some higglers have set up their stalls in the park, hoping to capitalize on persons passing by.
