Just like any other government run hospital needs improvement but staff really does the most with the limited resources

The long wait time is a "killer".. Unless it's asthma you won't been seen by a doctor for hours. Needs some work

My sister went there last night because her blood sugar was high,when we got there no nurses were there and she waited for an hour and still no nurse was available there, there was a total have 5 patient at the time when we got there and 2 of the 5 had IV’s in there hands not on the pole and they were walking around looking for a nurse or a doctor but there was no one available. Finally 2 lady doctor came in and they proceeded to ignore the the situation and the the patients in the waiting room. About 20 min went by and a patient ask one of the young lady a question and she reply was “you have to wait for the nurse”.
I felt a sinking feeling in my stomach I was amazed. That there was sick people in the Er and no one wanted to help.
What really bother me the most was that the two young lady proceeded to continue talking to each other about their personal business in the office with the door wide open so all of the patient could hear there conversation. Finally I had enough I got up and walk in the office and aske them to please explained to me what going on.
One the the lady said this was not her the department but she do known that you have to wait on a nurse to check the patient in before they could be seen. The other young lady was just smiling, I asked her if I said something funny she did not reply. I then ask her to put her self or even a love one sitting her waiting to be seen for hours and everyone sitting here chitchatting with the office door wide open, while patient need help. They didn’t reply it was as if they didn’t care if you live or die. It’s as if you were a bunch of animals and you don’t deserved the common courtesy of an answer.
I am writing this review in hope of something to be done because when people are sick they deserve to be treated with a little dignity and respect. This hospital show none of this towards their patient. They don’t care and it’s shows in the way they talk and actions.
My sister arrive about 8pm it took about 2 hrs for the triage nurse to see her and we didn’t lave till 5am.
