The Katamah experience can be compared to no other. From the greeting of the warm and friendly property owners to the beautiful rustic Moroccan themed property. If you truly want to relax and clear your mind while enjoying a piece of paradise in Jamaica, then Katamah it is. I have been to the guest house twice and anytime I'm in treasure beach again, that's where I'll be staying. The location is ideal because it is in close proximity to the popular spots. I've pretty much tried the luxury camping, berry suite and another suiteloved them all. If you want to vacation differently, spend some time in nature and at Katamah

Quiet. Calming. Tranquil. The essence of chill. The common area overlooks Frenchmen's Bay. You can relax and listen to the Caribbean Sea. Definitely worth future visits.

This is a " best kept secret" kind of place. Perfect place for an aunthentic, undilluted cultural experience. No frills, no check injust a space for you to become one with nature and the undilluted local culture. Clean place as well.

The situation of Katamah is just perfect: two steps from the beach, take tour coffee in surrounded the morning and enjoy it on the Sand. beautiful vegatation. I slept in one of the tents, shower is under the bambous, looks like you're lost in an island.
Kitchen is shared, some hamocs, life is sweet there.
The welcoming is nice, prices are correct for Treasure beach.response / report this review -

I stayed here when I was living in Jamaica back in 2014 & it was amazing! Everyone was incredibly friendly and it truly makes for the perfect get away.

Katamah is a literally the best place I've ever been too. I've been to Brazil, Portugal, Italy, Spain, the Dominican Republic and this by far is the best place I've had the honor of staying at!
It's right by the beach and its the only place where you can actually swim safely! Talk about prime real-estate! The Cabins, Rooms and Tents are all so beautifully constructed and luxurious without being pretentious. Everyone is so kind and genuine! All the workers make such an effort to create a home away from home. Why would anyone want to be stuck being some huge resort that completely takes away from the idea of a destination vacation. At Katamah you have the comfort of staying in a beautiful place WHILE experiencing the Island of Jamaica! Will be coming back every year! I can't express how grateful I am to have the chance to go to such a wonderful place and meet such genuinely kind and compassionate people.
