Awesome beach with great music; fantastic entertainment; friendly, helpful staff. The food was tasty with generous portions, lovely virgin cocktails. Sunbeds and parasols are for hire however if you travel with a tour bus or by boat it is included in the price you will also receive 10% off food and drink. Decent washroom facilities, showers and a place to change. The sea water is warm, salty and soothing. Water sports available as are inflatables. A wonderful place to spend the day/evening.
I will start off by saying the local staff did everything they could to accommodate us. The attached below is what I purchased for my daughter on March 8th for $739.62. This was booked by Simona thru Margaritaville Negril. This was scheduled for 4/13/18 the night before my daughters wedding. The bus never showed up to pick us up. The resort had to call for the bus to come get us. We get there and they are not aware that the Last Fling before the ring was booked. Please see the attachment below for what was supposed to be offered. No strippers/no photographer/no props/t shirts/glasses. We got 2 bottles of liquor and a roped off area. The highlight was glow in the dark ice buckets. Myself and my daughter has tried to contact Simona to discuss this misrepresentation several times with no response for a refund. I have come to a review hopefully for someone to reach out to me. My next step is to contact my bank for fraudulent charges.
Beach is decently large, with private cabanas, a massage area, gift shop, bar, and full restaurant. Local menu is heavily overpriced for basic items, but then again this is a tourist destination. Also, because of the inclusion of the aforementioned bar and restaurant, very strict with bringing anything in. We were told to bring a few bags we had back to the car because they suspected there was food in them. Also was told to throw away a bottle of water. Kills the atmosphere a bit. Umbrellas need to be rented as well; even though this is a "free" beach, essentially everything carries a price tag
Love the location of this one. Service was very slow which may be in part to how popular the location is. Food and drinks were okaybetter to go there just for drinks or the entertainment. The entertainment crew is amazing, they were definitely the highlight of my visit. There is free WiFi which is always a plus for me. Massages can also be an option as well if u want ($$)
This is the most beautiful beach in Jamaica, stretching 7 miles. This spot gets quite busy due to its well known brand. However, the food and drink are VERY overpriced for what they are. 800 jmd for a shot of local rum. Anywhere else I'd be able to buy a flask (half bottle) for less than that! I think it's worth a visit just to see what entertainment the staff having going on but I wouldn't buy anything nor stay there for the duration of my beach visit.
The service was okay. It took too long to receive our drinks and to pay for them. There was difficulty determining what our cost was and what change to be given. The beverages themselves were great.
It is beautiful by the beach. There are tables right in the sand. Two bars are on the beach so you can enjoy your drinks on the beach. Food is just okay. Nothing special. I would say the fries are awful. Do not have the grouper sandwich. It is awful as well.
Great margaritas. Decent beach spot. Plenty of spots to sit or lay out. Drinks are expensive for Jamaica but I expected that from pretty much the only chain on the beach.
In our recent trip to Negril, we were wanting some nachos so looked up Margaritaville. We were not disappointed. Excellent nachos - enough for four adults easily. Only issue is they don't answer their phones so you can forget about getting their free shuttle.
This location seems to attract a hefty crowd a lot of the time. The food is good, though a bit pricey. When it's time to party here, it's really time to party! A vivacious entertainment crew will have you dancing and laughing all evening. Grab some food & drinks, bust a move, and bounce around on the trampoline in the water. A good time for all.
Well i just love this place one of favorite place to hang out in negril. Less locals and there food is good. Try Jerk burger.
Ambiance is great.beautiful beach, fantastic food. Service was a little slow, however meal quality and the view made up for it. If it's raining don't attempt to walk in, the drive way needs attention a lot of settled water. Overall a great hang out spot!
Overrated to be quite honest. Its the typical tourist spot, overpriced and not truly Jamaican. The food is from an average Western menu, it wasn't bad, but there's better to be had. The gift shop was also overpriced, but I got a little shot glass for 300 JMD that I thought was really cute. The seven mile beach itself is great. Take a walk, check out other restaurants along the coast. There's para sailing and glass bottom boats if you're adventurous. If not, you could just sit on the beach and soak up the sun.
Nice water. Swarmed with locals peddling wares of various sorts, hats, Jamaica bracelets, shells and Ganja. I had a large joint pressed into my hand. I gave it back. If you allow them to put a bracelet on you, you will be expected to pay. Ask the bartender to make the drink stronger or your Margarita will be quite weak. Food was adequate. Gift shop was pricey.
This bar isn't huge but just big enough! You can also go lounge by the beach while enjoying the atmosphere! There is another bar on the beach. There is a gift shop and a guy that was doing magic tricks. It was a great time! I bought a shot were I got you keep the shot glass as a souvenir.
We had a amazing time there, the music, dancers, drinks and activities was awesome which were parasailing, water skiing, horse back riding, large inflatables in the water for the kids to enjoy and the boat ride was the icing on the cake. The boat ride was a drink and party boat ride which stop in the middle of the water for some snorkeling and after that drove over to rick's cafe where you can get some food and take part in the cliff dive. That really was a wonderful experience.
Loved it. Lovely atmosphere. A bit pricey but a clean beach and good day out.
Great beach, great entertainment, and good food. Two out of the three waitresses we had in two days that we went were great. The other girl was extremely rude didn't want to wait on us and barely said a word to any of us.
I needed to edit this review from 4 to 1 because when I got home I noticed that someone from this place stole my credit card number number and charged hundreds of extra dollars that I had to dispute. Don't go unless you have some cash they will rip you off. That rude gal waitress ripped us off!! I will never go there again.
If you need a break from typical Jamaican fare this is a great place to visit. Dining tables are set up on the beach so you can dig your toes in the sand while enjoying some classic Jimmy Buffet hits. We got the chicken quesadilla which was perfect, and the Buffalo wings which were very tiny for the price. Also, the prices are on the high side.
Very disappointed. My drink had no alcohol I sent it back - the remade one, was better but I've had much better. Kinda strange my worst margarita was at Margaritaville. Our food was served cold. The family sitting beside us said their food was cold too. I had a cheeseburger, my husband ordered the fish sandwich. I asked for mustard they came back and said there would be a charge if I wanted it. I then asked for a manager, and told her "we are not going to eat the cold food or pay for mustard we would pay for our drinks but not for the food." We left and went down the beach to a great place called Sunquest where we had the best food ever. On a side note, our tour guide made it sound like we had to stay there and eat. If you are told that don't listen go where you want.
Great service. Nice Beach. Margaritas are tasty. Music and DJ is very entertaining. Makes sure the crowd feels welcomed. They have a bathroom and wash station outside the place for all visitors. Umbrella rentals are a tad expensive at $15 US per umbrella. They have a trampoline out in the sea for those who want to play on it and jump off into the sea.
