On April 29, 2018, I suffered a fall at the jerk hut on this property, falling to the beach. It was at lunchtime, I was not drinking and the incident was not only witnessed by many guests but also videoed.

It took their property nurse 15 minutes to respond and she came with a wheel chair. Thankfully, an EMT was there from the states plus 2 vacationing nurses. Against their advice, their nurse flipped me over. I had a dislocated and broken shoulder, along with several other breaks.

I was taken to Hospiten, where their cat scan machine was broken and they had only an XRay machine. I was operated on and the surgery was evaluated by my doctord in the states as elementary and crude because they did not have plates to repair. I was discharged 4 days later and my husband flew in to accompany home. I thank all their patrons and witnesses for providing me with their contact info.

While there, we asked to see General Manager, he did not even speak to us. Guest services did not speak to us. No would provide us with any info on their insurance company.

I am still inquiring. Holiday Inn International has been no help. They keep saying they are requesting them to call us in 24 hours. No calls. Holiday Inn International said they don't have the info as to the name og the general manager. Bull! I have left both their general manager and their customer service manager at least 4 emails since I got back.

The owner is Kevin Hendrickson of the Hendrickson Group. He owns runs over 60% of the hospitality resorts in Jamaica. He has not been in touch nor anyone from his corporation.

I am contacting the American Embassy today and an attorney today.

No one goes on vacation anticipating an accident. However, please choose another place. Not a place with substandard healthcare or a resort that can't provide you with their insurance info. Doesn't matter that my daughter who I was with belonged to their IHG club or not.

Protect yourself and your loved ones!

We had our marriage there April 24th, 2008. Ten years later we returned to renew our vows April 24, 2018. I requested NO photographer. We had family members to take photos. The photographer showed up and inserted himself into the renewal anyway. He ruined our photographs that our family took. I explicitly said NO photographer. I thought, well maybe he was part of the package since the renewal was 900 dollars. I feel like our privacy was intruded upon. I will NOT be coming back! I feel we should be comped on the photos.

Really loved the room, and all the people who worked there. Great service It's a bit loud for my tastes but kids love it and if that's a priority for you, you won't be disappointed Food most importantly for an all inclusive was 10/10 very delicious even though it's buffet and they have local cuisine as well as some staples you are used too Highly recommended for families.

Stayed here for a week with family in February. Food was good, although limited selection. Rooms were clean, but make sure to not bring food or sweet drinks in the rooms, as it attracts many little bugs. The beach was a huge disappointment. Very small area available to swim, and that area was very shallow. All other areas are covered in seaweed. The sand was very rough and had lots of broken shells, which made it hard to walk on. Its also incredibly windy, so be prepared for that. The drinks were good, and all staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! The pool was cold and shallow. Giving 3 stars since the beach sucked.

Clean, good entertainment and food. It has a pretty big hot tub, an on-site nite club and a really nice and fully functional Courtesy room. Great trip!

The overall experience just wasn't coordinated. They had random shop and restaurant closures. No way to reserve restaurants unless you awoke at 7 am or earlier. They have an adults only area which is nice and the wifi is solid in bldg 7, but the lobby wifi is terrible. I would not go again, nor would I recommend it to others.

Having a great experience. The hotel is a little dated but the staff makes up for it. The food us amazing from the island traditions to Japanese cuisine. They have an adult only area as well as a family area. Nightly entertainment. Visit the shops right outside the gate. Great shop called Jamaica Arts Palace for handmade items, crafts from local artists at a price that cannot be beat.

Excellent food friendly staff. Entertainment is a little cheesy but great for kids. Smokers are confined.

Nice hotel with an abundance of different rooms. Open bar with a kitchen thats opened til 1am which is more than I could ask for. However, there are multiple buildings for every room and there is only one elevator (that I know of) that is pretty distance from my room. Other than that it was a great experience!

The hotel is close to the airport, and the staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Enjoyed the all inclusive but didn't have time to take advantage of the opportunities as the weather wasn't cooperative. Overall comfortable stay.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Resort. Our room had a great view of the swimming pool and beach. The A/C worked wonderfully. I would often tell my wife it was like walking into the arctic after a day spent on the beach. The bathroom was small but not uncomfortable. The rest of the room was nice with all the regular stuff. The entertainment was amazing. The buffet was delicious. Some times I wished there was more variety but they surprised me with what they had. The restaurants they offer are pretty darn good as well. We tried the Sea food and the Japanese and they were both to die for. My only real complaint would be the elevators did not work all the time and the WIFI was a bit dodgy at times. We truly enjoyed our stay and definitely will go again.

Excellent service and the staff even gave me and my family connecting rooms, which allowed us all to be together. The staff were friendly and happy to help and everyone was smiling. Entertainment wise was good and lots of family shows. I will use this hotel again for sure.

I wish I could rate different areas separately. The people here ate great, friendly and fun. The resort however is in need of serious updating. Food is pretty good and the drinks are awesome. Just update to this century.

Jamaica is Beautiful the holiday inn was very nice food was okay but they have a dress code for the Dinner Buffet I don't agree with it there was so many men with tank's that couldn't go in to eat they were told to go change or eat somewhere else .
Staff!! The only one person we really enjoyed was Rayan he was pretty much the only one that actually smiled and made us feel welcomed the other's didn't greet us anytime we walked to order something they didn't acknowledge us until we got there attention.
The night shows were cool we loved the Dancing, we liked that the hotel had fun activities for us to do within the hotel
Excursion were awesome but pricey for the other restaurants inside there's a extra charge per person and you'll need reservations a day before so book fast! We liked that they provided washer and dryer for the guest.

My family stayed there in november actually couple weeks ago and we had an amazing time we were greeted with a friendly staff at the front desk and the VIP lounge. We had a kids suite and it was well kept. The staff at poolside and the barefoot grill was so friendly, two in particular melanie and rochelle also another beautiful lady who helped my husband with the slices of pizza for our 4yr old .I can't remember the names of the others but I must say well done ladies. The kids enjoyed the kids pool.
We spent 2 nights so we didn't get to explore all the amenities but we will most definitely next year for our 15th year anniversary.

We spent our honeymoon at the resort and had a wonderful time. The buffet options were extensive and they changed daily. The restaurants all offered different cuisines, Sorrentos was our favorite. Staff were very helpful and kind. We loved the free activities and they had tons of options for outside paid activities. It was easy to set up a catamaran tour, they handled everything for us and transportation was usually included. The beaches were beautiful, every thing was clean and well maintained. The hotel decoration is a little dated, but it was certainly not anything that made us feel differently about the wonderful week we had!
