My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in December of 2014. Although I booked early and made the mandatory 1st night deposit my name was not in the system. We had to wait for the better part of an hour for a room to be prepared for us. Even though we waited, the studio type room was not the type I booked and the reason given was that guests for a wedding have not checked out in timethis was well after 3 pm and check out time is noon.

The bulbs in the bathroom and the bedside lamps were blown and a few light switches didn't work including the one close to the bed. To turn on the overhead bulb, we had to walk back almost to the entrance door to get the auxiliary switch. The bathroom was short of towels.

Our stay at Holiday Haven was bad from the start and things didn't change for the better as long as we were there, so much so I was not in the mood to take any pictures of the place. The wedding held there that same evening we arrived was too loud to afford us the peace and quiet we sought.

I wanted a place to spend the night and this was a good choice. Mind if you would want to spend longer it would fit you aswell. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

I got the family suites and it came with two beds separated by a curtain in the middle of the room to give some privacy. The bathroom has both a bath and a shower separate. The room also has a small balcony with chairs so you can enjoy the cool night air after a hot day.

The breakfast was definitely out if this world. Some of the most delicious Jamaican meals I have ever had.

This hotel is worth the price hands down. They will also host weddings and reception right there at the hotel. The rooms are not beautiful but clean and very spacious. I enjoyed my stay.

Worked at two wedding there. When i wanted to host an event of my own i contacted them first. They did not respond to my email. Subsequent calls with them referred me back to sending an email which i again did and got no response. Really dont know the secret of getting through to them

A quaint homely feel with an accompanying cool sea breeze.

CONS: A bit lost In time and in the middle of nowhere. Receptionist Is a little clueless.

PROS: Staff in general are friendly and accommodating. The function room is adequate and the suites are lovely.

The air conditioned rooms, the comfortable bed and a small refrigerator made it feel a lot like home. The cable television was fuzzy but was still able to see the picture. The flowers added to the ambient as well as the warn and friendly staff. Only breakfast is provided by their is a shop onsite.

My family and I found Holiday Haven three years ago. Since then, every time we go to Jamaica we stay here. The owner, the staff, THE FOOD, the rooms, the property and everything about this place is great. They have on site security, a very nice pool, plants and trees, free wifi, a gym, a bar, and other amenities. Did I mention the great food????? LoL If youre looking for a safe place to stay in Jamaica I would definitely recommend here. Its close t shops, other hotels and you get access to a private beach that's about 5 minutes away. We walk to the beach because its so close. The owner, Mr T himself comes around to make sure everything you need is taken care of. They will help out in whatever way they can. I cant say enough about this place. You MUST experience it for yourself.
