  There is a fundamental issue with how applications are processed at the Orange Street location. I spent 5 hours (from 10am -3pm) going through the application submission process and an additional 4 hours collecting the report 1 week later. This establishment needs to reassess how they manage people, their time and also be mindful that people cannot be expected to spend one whole day going through what seems to be a simple process.
  Seperate and apart from that, the staff are somewhat courteous and accommodating.

  The office has temporarily relocated to 8 Orange Street, Downtown. This has created extra stress on the staff there and it is evident in their customer service.
  Expect a long wait time, so please be patient and polite to the staff.

  I live in Virginia USA. Immigration requested that I get a police record from my home country- Jamaica. I went online and saw the procedures how to get it done. 1st you get your finger print done in the area (country) where you currently lives, 2nd you pay the police record's fee at the tax office (inland revenue)- if you have your TRN; if no TRN you'll have to check the police dept downtown (online have details of specific personnel & address) after this, submit a cover letter stating the reason for the police record, certified copy of your passport bio data page (may be certified at the embassy in your area or done by a notary public (bank has too), along with finger print, 2 passport pics (no signing) and the receipt. If female and married since coming here and you need the police record in your married name; a copy of your marriage certificate would be a plus. If you need someone to do the transaction please state person's full name & possible a contact number in the cover letter & make sure they have a valid ID, if you wish for it to come directly to you send a return addressed stamped envelope. They have regular service, next day service and 5 days service. (Check online for fees remember the dollars changes on a regular basis) If express you pay your correct fee at the postal service to do so. They were very professional in how they handled my case and in a timely manner. Well done!

  No body answers the phones there either! Called every day for a week.. 4 times a day NO ANSWER!!

  Better be prepared to wait over an hour to collect a document you have already paid for and should just be picking up.
  
  Never see a more inefficient system of collection in my life. Only got one star because the lady at the front desk was fast at directing me where to collect
