Absolutely the worst customer service experience even worse than any utility company or government agency in Jamaica. I refer specifically to the JNGI branch in New Kingston on Barbados Avenue. I honestly forgot to complete my part payment on my car insurance, and realized that for three weeks I am driving with an expired insurance certificate and not one call from anyone from the company to find out what has happened, on top of that, these ( customer oriented) people at JNGI terminated my insurance contract for non payment, without so much as a phone call or email to find out why. Only in Jamaica could any company operate like this, and still be in business..

Do NOT insure with JNGI. I repeat, DO not do it. They drag out the insurance process I meant DRAG it out. They do not respond to your calls, and really act like greedy dogs when it comes to giving you what you deserve. They have great service UNTIL you need to make a claim - then, they turn to wild animals.

Jamaica general insurance company is one of the best in Jamaica I insured with them for over 15 year no problem my claims was taken care of under two weeks

Though I was seated and had to wait an hour before someone came and attended to me, the person that came apologized sincerely for having to haven wait so long and was quite efficient from there on out and even made me able to get to the tax office that was closing shortly even though we were not at that stage yet.
