  If you want good local Jamaican food, friendly staff and one of the best beach views at an affordable rate, Cosmos is it. Be prepared to wait a little for the food as it's made to order.
  
  Sad to say Cosmos is closed and the location sold. But rumor is that the new tenant will be Beaches and open up a "Cosmos" restaurant inside the place.
  Let's hope so.
  But a good alternative is Sun Beach

  Great food at good price, right on the beach. Soup comes quick, other food will take a while, don't be in a hurry enjoy!

  Cosmos seafood is now closed.. The property is now owned by Sandals Company..
  
  Lovely place to have some of Jamaica finest quality seafood dishes.

  After 40 years, Cosmos remains a great place for families. I love their time-tested Jamaican menu and the restaurant is on Negril's beach. Reasonably priced and kid-friendly.

  Relaxed beach side cafe with unbeatable prices and friendly staff. The hustlers are fewer in number on this end of the beach. The food is outstanding and the menu has pretty much anything you need. Drinks are also excellent. Changing rooms available as are beach chairs for a small fee. This was our favorite hangout during our trip!

  I've known about this place since I was a kid back in the 70's. I love this place and I have to come here when I'm in Jamaica. I'm going to Jamaica 3/13/17 and I'm so looking forward to eating there. I hope that Uncle Cosmo is still alive.
