Great hotel! Quiet and a beautiful location. A bit far away from everything so a car is a nice thing to have.

Unfriendly and unhelpful female staffs. My husband and I went for a massage. Unfortunately my husband was not feeling very well so I asked to reschedule for our next visit to Italy. Not only did they refuse but they also didn't refund us our money. The place itself is beautiful but I was probably expecting customer service unheard of in that part of Italy!

Friendly staff, ok rooms and lovely facilities. We got there just after the busy season (last week of August), so place wasn't too crowded. Perfect if you just want to chill out and have a relaxing time. The high points for me were the nice (a bit on the cool side though!) pool where you could go for a nice afternoon swim and also the seating outside that the hotel's restaurant offered. Also convenient that the hotel offers a shuttle bus down to the beach, where chairs are reserved for guests staying at the hotel. Some of the food in the restaurant was very nice, the seafood salad was really good.

We were given a gift card for use of the spa and a dinner, so I cannot comment on the hotel or rooms. I have snobbishly high standards when it comes to restaurants and considering this was a gift card, I had low expectations. However, I was beyond pleasantly surprised (maybe even shocked) at the high quality of all the food courses and the exemplary service of the wait staff. The seating was outside, beneath comfortably lit umbrellas overlooking the mountainside. It was quiet and romantic.
The spa, while clean, was in need of a makeover itself. The facility was modern but falling apart. Many of the spa features where unfortunately broken and looked to have been so for quite some time (bubbles in the jacuzzis not working, bubbles in the pool not working, two out of four showers where broken). Regardless, I still enjoyed the spa for its serene surroundings and quiet atmosphere. I also had a remarkably good massage, which I would definitely return for.
Overall, dinner was great, spa was OK, massage was far better than my averages. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.response / report this review
