A lovely stay here. Good food, room and great views.
Splendid in every way.food was one of the best! Abundant and tasty. Not to mention the pure dedication and love towards nature and their home grown fruits and productionwell done for all the efforts you do to make up for this beauty you own at Villa Dafne.
beautiful location, friendly staff and amazing food.
We'll worth the visit despite the condition of the local roads.
Beautiful and it's surrounding are breath taking. You can see how ricotta, cheese, and we'll prepared meat and sausages, wine is Good. One place where you can relax.
Astounding scenery, nice staff (although the server’s lack of English skills was a bit troublesome) and loveley food. Will definitely go here again.
Ok
We had an excellent stay here visiting Sicily and family in a town nearby. The food was beyond excellent and the staff was helpful and friendly.
Villa Dafne is without a doubt the best kept secret in Sicily. One of the owners, Giuseppe, took us for an hour and half tour of the dairy farm and cheese processing plant. His explanation of running a dairy farm and the in’s and out’s of cheese processing was a mix of science lecture and 25 years of learning how to do things correctly. Their cheese is without a doubt the best cheese we have ever tasted. Mateo is the main man on the desk and is gracious, welcoming and helpful. My whole family (six of us) fell in love with our waiter, Francesco. He was accommodating, cheerful, knowledgeable and always pleasant. I don’t think they could have hired better people. The rooms themselves are quaint, comfortable and each had a view that we could not wait to wake up to. The most notable feature, and the one that they seemed most proud of, was their exquisite Sicilian cooking. Every meal was prepared by their own chef and each was an epicurean's delight. There was always more food than one could eat but that didn’t stop any of us from enjoying the nights dessert. All of us have the same feeling about Villa Dafne:
1. We would highly recommend it to our friends.
2. We are all planning on returning ourselves.
3. We will bring our other family members with us when we return.
Beautiful location, clean and comfortable rooms, delicious food, very relaxing atmosphere and the staff are more than happy to help. The chef was more than happy to prepare gluten free pasta on request, we didn't have a car and they drove us to a village 25kilometers away, my nephew was ill and they kindly called a doctor to see to him and they didn't charge! It is bit isolated, you definitely need a car as the nearest town is a fair distance away. The pool is very deep, I'm 5'4" and could just about touch the bottom on my tip toes! You are not allowed in the pool without wearing a swimming cap which they will sell you for 3 euro, not a big deal but if we had known we would have bought our own from home as there were 8 of us, it was a nuisance! Apart from that, we had a very relaxing stay, and I would recommend this Villa as long as you have your own transport!
