Good terminal. But watch out for pick pocketers. Especially if you're taking the Regional trains. Lot of dirty people in those trains that don't care.

If connecting to or from the local tube be very wary of this location. If you are coming in from a fast train let me give you a tip, while buying your local ticket have your money ready in a separate pocket. If you show your wallet at any point during your time here you will be a target.
The pick pockets will stand by the window with the cover of “helping” people decipher how to commute to their destination. That person is really spotting for a network of pickpockets that roam this station. Once they “mark” you they have 3-4 people working to hit you before the 2nd stop coming out of Naples. So, separate your money and stay alert.

Someone in our group lost 500 euros this way.

Unfortunately this station isn’t very good. It seem very unorganised, has very little signage and pickpockets roam in and around it.
If you have to use this station keep your wits about you and try to get away from it as quick as possible

Station was not bad inside, but be careful when you walk outside, especially in Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi. if you have a suitcase, you are most likely going to be targeted by pickpockets. just make sure there's no one close behind you and avoid people walking towards you.

1 euro to use the bathroom. Very hard to find tourist info. 1 chair for every 100 people in the station. Hopefully you can get in and out quickly.

    BE AWARE OF PICKPOCKETS

When leaving or arriving the station, exit through the underground shopping centre. We walked along the main street to the side of the main square in front of the station and were targeted by pickpockets. One guy used a tactic of wiping spit on my shoulder and when offering to clean it off, a second guy approached close to the right and attempted to lift my phone out of my pocket. Luckily I felt this movement and reacted, sending my phone flying to the floor. I scrambled to retrieve my phone and the guys ran off.

Extremely dodgy area around the station and they are constantly monitoring tourists so be careful and carry as little possessions as possible.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I'm stuck here because my bag got stolen it had my passport in it. I was sitting right in the freaking main lounge. The bag was on my left leg, I was on my phone and somehow someone nicked it without me knowing. I went to the police at the station who had a casual attitude and could barely speak English. I had to BEG them to help me get a written report. My phones almost dead and there's ZERO charging stations here. Yes that's right, if you're phone dies here you have to travel out to some cafe to charge your phone. What kind of train station doesn't have a simple charging station or switch??? Horrible experience. You'll get robbed if not careful, people will see it happening but no one will stop it. Not even the police. The police are just there for show.

Great all round - plenty to take in whilst transferring or even visiting town.
Great proximity to centre & good food outlets just outside of station

Station was clean and neat. Sign boards and directions clear. It was easy to find our way. The curcumvesuvian train station, metro and bus stations can all be reached from within less than 2 mins walk in and around the stations. Lots of restaurants and places to eat at this station.
