Food was amazing, staff was very atentive, room were spacious and clean. A view you would die for. Wonderful experience.

This place is a small castle. It's amazing. The view is spectacular, the people are so friendly and the building itself is beautiful. The room is very simple but has a great window view. The bed and service is good in the room. My only issue is that the breakfast is poor. Specifically the coffee. They use an automatic machine and it stinks, especially if you're in Italy and want a real Italian coffee.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting away from everything. The view from our room is never ending. The staff has been more than helpful with anything we need, including helping us plan our excisions. The room itself is very basic and plain, but clean.

Fabulous food very professional staff through out. Amazing views. Room beautiful. Pool well kept big sunshade umbrellas. The dining on the terrace is without doubt the best we have experienced sunsets out of this world

prachtig hotel mooi opgeknapt panoramische uitzicht, restaurant moet je reserveren en het eten is gewoontjes en (daarom) ook te duur maar uitzicht en sfeer goed.

This hotel is located in a lovely medieval town that has been transformed into a charming hotel - this does, however, mean the main road is a 10min. drive away. I stayed in the "country suites", apartments that were located in a separate building just outside the main town/hotel (2min. walk). The bar, library, restaurant and spa are all located in the main building and are decorated in a classical style that really fits the environment. The outside terrace of the restaurant offers stunning views over the Umbrian hills, especially at sunset. The restaurant itself served food that is neither really good nor really bad. I've enjoyed every meal I was served. The staff are incredibly friendly and are fluent in English, a welcome change in Italy! I can really recommend this hotel if you are looking after a nice, relaxing holiday.

We have just had a fabulous week at the Relais il Canalicchio, a Fleetway travel bargain.
We hired a car, and this made the difference as the hotel is wonderfully isolated.( I would strongly recommend hiring a car)
The hotel is a stone built, hill-top hamlet taken over as a hotel/ apartments. Therefore the inside is quirky and old. It seems that there are many adaptations for people with mobility problems, but mobility problems need to be mentioned at booking stage, as there are many different levels.
The food was good, and the chef would willingly adapt a menu for me (a vegetarian)
The view from the hotel is stunning, and we were fortunate to have a sunny week.
I would recommend this hotel with the following add-on.Hire a car, and mention any mobility problems. WE WILL GO BACK ASAP X
