The property was clean and modern. The check-in process was easy and the front desk staff attentive and professional. The only issue was the bedroom walls were paper thin and you could hear everything going on in the room next door

Casa Leonori is a much newer, more modern hotels that is just outside of Assisi. A short 5 minute, 15 euro taxi ride and voila you are at the Piazza Comune. The room I stayed in was rather large, with a common for Italy, 2-bed to become a queen size bed set up, a standard toilet/bidet/shower bathroom, working A/C, television (~32" screen which is newer and larger than most hotels in Italy), and a fridge. The staff are polite and friendly and will assist you with anything you need, including helping you - without judgment! - through the front doors at midnight that you thought were locked but really required you to push, not pull! The outside of the hotel really is fabulous as is the inside. A 5/5 on this one, well worth the price despite its distance from town.
