The hosts were hospitable and friendly, the location is convenient for the buses, and the view from the room was quite lovely. As most of the other reviews state, the breakfast & coffee are not particularly great but it was not surprise so we brought our own fruit. Positano attracts a very wide range of tourists, so whether you'll enjoy your stay depends on your preferences!

Staff was very accommodating and friendly. View was amazing. Rooms were okay. Felt more like a cottage. Our bathroom shower floor was not flush with the wall so it would get water on the floor. The water tank for the bathroom was very loud but you could at least close the door. Breakfast was breads and jams.

Stayed there for 3 nights. The owners could not be more welcoming or helpful. I was able to book the place on very short notice during a busy week in September. The price was very reasonable compared to the rest of Positano. It's within walking distance of everything you need. Look, it's not the Waldorf, but it is quaint and charming and clean. And the breakfast on the terrace every morning is simple and perfect. Also, they had a place for my rental car for a few extra Euros a night. I'll definitely return. Grazie.

The B and B is basic but clean! The husband and wife who run it are so sweet and accommodating. The view is great, though there is a lot of steps to get there. It has everything you need and it's air conditioned in every room!

Be prepared to buy your breakfast, lunch and dinner, unless you are a carbohydrate maniac. Breakfast is a large croissant with 2 dinner rolls, a glass of juice and coffee. You have to ask for water. I only gave it 2 stars because the location is relatively close to town. You can take a very short bus ride for 1.30€ or a 15min walk down the steps.
The wifi doesn't really work and they know it. This is what aggravated us the most. They would turn the router on and off to get us a connection, kicking others off. WTH?! If you want wifi and breakfast, find another place for a bit more or just deal with purchasing and stay at this place.response / report this review -

L'albergo Vila Verde est une adresse de rêve pour séjourner à Positano.Vous êtes au coeur d'un décor paradisiaque,entouré de montagnes de tous les côtés,avec la mer en bas,que l'on rejoint en descendant les escaliers de la ville.Les propriétaires sont accueillants,chaleureux,aimables et serviables,le confort est parfait,la propreté impeccable,le petit déjeûner se prend sur la terrasse,le calme est absolu.J'y retournerai volontiers,à chaque fois !!!!C'est vraiment une adresse sympathique.

Rooms are decent, TINY TV's. WIFI does not work in your room and barely works upstairs in the main area if at all. Its at the top of Positano so expect a 15minute walk to the beach (if you take the endless flights of stairs) Close to a good restaurant a mini shop though. Staff was nice and will put your food in their fridge if you ask. The breakfast is menial ( a croissant with 2 small buns and a cup of juice or coffee/tea )

Very friendly and helpful. Clean but very basic b&b. Watch out for the mosquitoes we were still itching after 1 week!
