Stopped by just to enjoy the view and cocktail. Awesome place. Wish I can stay there one day.

For special occasions, in this case our honeymoon, you often search for the best accommodations possible. There are many suggestions for the Amalfi coast, but I find it difficult to imagine that any could deliver more than the Monastero Santa Rosa in Conca dei Marini. This small boutique hotel has more staff on hand than guests ready to cater to your every request and often anticipating them before you even know it's something you want.
Breakfast each morning was a delight. The meals ended up being so good we ate our dinners at the hotel most evenings. From dinner in their restaurant to a candlelight dining experience outdoors, the entire culinary progression was fantastic.
Their Spa is still our favorite and the prices were so reasonable it is almost impossible to believe.
We opted for a room with a terrace and it was fantastic.
There are many fantastic properties along the Amalfi coast, but the experience being on the cliff side in Conca made this perfect for us.response / report this review -

This hotel is outstanding. From the moment you walk in till the moment you depart, they treat you like family. Very warm and kind staff. Exceptional prodessionalism. The hotel, spa, infinity pool, restaurant and view are all five-star. We will remember this hotel fondly and hope to oneday return.

This hotel and property is a must for those seeking a peaceful oasis just 15 minutes away from downtown Amalfi. Perched high upon a cliff overlooking the blue waters of the bay the views are spectacular and the atmosphere is very peaceful. The service is impeccable. The staff is friendly and their attention to detail is unmatched. A great place for renewal, the spa is something to be experienced. I would highly recommend you put this hotel on your "will do" list.

ENCHANTING & BEAUTIFUL HOTEL
If I could give more stars I would! We at the Monastero Santa Rosa recently and it was the BEST stay. Everything about this place was beautiful, the historic building, the views, the gardens, the pools, the roomsEVERYTHING. It had so much characterit even SMELLED great. The staff - SPA, RESTAURANT, POOL, RECEPTION.were all so AMAZING!! They did whatever they could to make our stay more pleasant. The breakfast in the mornings was just delicious and amazing. I've stayed at a lot of five star hotels in the world - but this one surpasses all of them. The Monastero is the epitome of class and luxury. You will find hand written notes in your room from the staff welcoming you, or upon booking an appointment at the spa. They go above and beyond to make you feel special. The food at the restaurant and bar is amazing. I cannot wait to go back!!!response / report this review -

INCREDIBLE, DELIOUS & SPECIAL!
I could not recommend this hotel enough, the staff were very welcoming, kind and professional, the pool was the best example of an infinity pool I've seen, the spa was the best spa I've ever experienced, the view was spectacular and ohhhh the food! The pleasures of the Amalfi coast are no secret, yet few can match Monastero Santa Rosa's complete and utter perfection. The relaxation is total and all-encompassing and every special moment is amplified at Monastero Santa Rosa.

The sfogliatella Santa Rosa was created in the monastery of Santa Rosa in Conca dei Marini in the province of Salerno, Italy, in the 17th century. Pasquale Pintauro, a pastry chef from Naples, acquired the original recipe and began selling the pastries in his shop in 1818.

We stopped by here for some tea on the way to Sorrento, and were extremely jealous of the guests in this gorgeous and luxurious setting! It felt very exclusive with super slick service. Our tea was served with homemade petit fours and was served on the terrace overlooking the secluded gardens, infinity pool and sea beyond. We were confused with the local parking rules and called the concierge before getting to the hotel and they told us to drive up to the entrance and one of their staff will go park our car in a safe place for us. Just one of those places you are made to feel very special.
