This is one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. At first the place is nice enough, it's pretty and decently clean. The room wasn't anything special but it worked. It definitely wasn't worth eating dinner there, the food was bland and the staff just seemed annoyed Nour room had a balcony with a view of the port. It wasn't sure pretty to look at, which is fine, but it was kinda da noisy. Saturday night was horrific.. there is a disco right outside the hotel that plays music louder than anything I've ever heard. The hotel can do nothing about it. We called and complained so they moved us to an inside room, at this point it was 3am. The new room smelled like mold and and cigarettes, but at least it was quiet I guess. We checked out as soon as we woke up. Definitely don't recommend this place.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! Staff is annoying, bed is uncomfortable, we felt buggy all night and we stayed on a Saturday into a Sunday. From midning to 5a, the Disco place downstairs plays Italian "house" music. I didn't know that type of music could get any worse. It was honestly soooo loud!!!! Didn't sleep all night. Please, don't stay here.

Elegant hotel with access to a beach though it is difficult to get to the beach. Difficult ultimate to get around in the hotel also.

I will be reviewing this hotel as a place to stay for your vacation in Salerno, not as a conference/party place.
The positive reviews seem to be focused on that.
The bad parts:
1: Rude/callous personal, uninterested and unhelpful. Don't believe them if they say they can help you with basically anything.
2: Sub-par breakfast.
3: Discos with fireworks during weekends, meaning, you can't sleep between 23:50-05:00 during the weekends. (Bring along an inflatable mattress and sleep in the bathroom if you do want to).
4: Poorly maintained rooms with lots of beauty spots. Our toilet seat was very wobbly and the bed was not only hard but also obviously quite old and worn-down (sunk down in each part of it).
5: The beach lunch restaurant was very unprofessional with very uneven service, no concept of wanting a joined meal (for instance, I got my dish 20 minutes before my wife and they didn't even understand why we where displeased).
6: Almost constant bustle from the nearby harbor, all day and night.
7: They where rebuilding large parts of beach, both noisy and ugly.
8: Without saying anything basically anywhere (we tried looking), they charged 10 Euros per day extra for access to the beach per person, which would be fine if they actually mentioned that this was the case. When we asked in the lobby where it said they only said that "It says nowhere that it is included." and got very defensive, and even the towel girl was obviously used to taking this discussion since I asked her a different question and she already started talking about there existing free beaches
9: Not really their fault, but the buses are quite unreliable and taxi drivers seemed to have a hard time finding the place, so it can take some extra time getting to or from it.
10: View is very uneven since from certain angles it is great and others there is an ugly harbor.
11: Very poor selection for vegetarians in the restaurant, about 50/50 if there was anything at all since menus where rotating. Nothing for vegans.
The positive:
1: The beach was both well-maintained and probably the single best beach along the entire amalfi coast. Still quite coarse sand, but that is just how it is around there.
2: The view as long as you looked in the right direction.
3: Close to vietri sul mare, which is quite charming and has many nice restaurants.
4: Quite close to Salerno so quite easy to get to nice excursions like Pompei or Capri.
To sum it all up, we did like to hang out at the beach daytime, otherwise, we basically only enjoyed our stay in Italy when we where away from the hotel.

Bad service. Not fully functioning yacuzzi, noisy construction work and noisy partys. The only plus is the view (if you look to the right, to the left there's a big ugly harbour with noisy ships loading on and of). The restaurant on the beech was taking the wrong prize, served the courses so that me and my husband had to eat separatly with no excuse. We will definetly not recommend anyone a visit here. Every hotel I had visit I would like to return to but not the Lloyds Baia Hotel. Oh and the matresses is really worn down.

Location is beautiful, rooms are ok. Pillows are super uncomfortable. Beds are stiff. Staff is friendly.

Grate place to stay the restaurant ofers a grate and amazing menu. The service is very fast, i recommend this place, there are special ofers for the menu check them out !

Interesting place, perched on top of a cliff. The room was large and comfortable, mine had a balcony and sea view. The staff were helpful and the food was good quality, if a bit pricey. There is a lift that takes you down to the beach - normally 5 euros (each way!) but you didn't seem to have to pay if you didn't want an umbrella/sunbed. The sea was warm but maybe not the cleanest. The location was ok - walkable to both Vietri sul Mare (5mins) and Salerno (15mins).

The hotel is stunningly beautiful, with rooms looking out over the sea, and a superb beach just below. Everything is very well decorated. The good is excellent. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Just a few minor complaints: spotty wifi, uncomfortable bedsheets, and poor toiletries.
