Tough to find but worth it. No parking and lots of winding steps. Great rooms, service, views in the middle of the historic center.

A most exquisite room, the most elegant touches! Staff friendly and helpful. Just be prepared to walk uphill .. it's worth it.

All of those stairs are very well worth the walk. If you are in Matera you must stay here. The 'caves' are phenomenal (not to mention architecturally cool) and the view from the second 'floor' is to die for as the fog clears! If you don't have dinner here head up the street to I Due Sassi Trattoria!
