  Vincenzo e Carla hanno creato un vero e proprio gioiello nei sassi di Matera. Le camere sono fresche, confortevoli, bellissime e pulitissime. Arredamento caratteristico, colazione casareccia e servizio cordialissimo.

  Matera é una città magica e la dolce vita rispecchia perfettamente quanto è la città .
  A 360 gradi cordiali ospititali puliti e Vincenzo una persona che con l amore per la sua città
  ci ha trasmesso un po di lui

  In foto vedete la suite da noi prenotata. Si trova in uno stabile moderno con ingresso indipendente al pian terreno con giardino condiviso. La stanza è bella ed appariscente, la colazione si fa in camera come vedete dalle foto, diciamo per quest'ultima nulla di che, i cornetti per la colazione ci sono stati portati la sera prima e non c'è possibilità di scaldarli anche se la proprietaria si è gentilmente offerta di farlo in casa sua. È presente una macchina per il caffè in cialde. Se gradite una stanza moderna e fashion va bene, se invece volete godere della vista e vicinanza ai sassi allora dovete spostarvi altrove. La struttura dista circa 2km dal centro.

  Excellent stay and highly recommended
  
  We found here on a last minute basis (using trip advisor and online searching) the day before passing through matera to Bari and are glad we did pick the place.
  
  Vincenzo was very informative of the city/history and adaptable for us. The room was exceptionally clean and in very good condition as well as being unique as partially set within a cave. Breakfast was a simple homemade breads/pastry and coffee and was very tasty outside on their terrace.
  
  Location wise its within the very old matera sassi area and easy to find. If you arrive by car, like we did during mid afternoon, the parking can be busy. Once parked you can walk easily through the old area and also its a short walk to the new area (well newer!?) with the stores and cafes etc
  
  We couldn’t recommend here more and definitely should be on your top choice if visiting Matera / passing through ….
  
  As a note we travel frequently and are use to good travel and so this makes a great decision for staying quality wise and the room designs was very interesting

  Very pleasantely surprised by Matera and in particular by the exceptional Bed and Breakfast "La dolce Vita". Vicenzo took his time to explain to us a few secrets of old and new Matera. Beautiful room in a sassi type home and a great breakfast with a view.

  A fabulous B&B in Matera, city of Sassi, part of the UNESCO classification.When meeting the owners Carla and Vincenzo you will discover an incredibly nice and friendly couple.
  The place is lovely, neat and charming. The perfect little "nest" to go to either for a nice an relaxing stay or a more dynamic one to visit the area, full of great surprises: old and charming cities to visit, the beach.
  Not to mention the way you will be welcomed in one of the two flats and the amazingly tasteful breakfasts with home made cakes and fresh fruit juice.. but no way to get Carla's cakes recipe..it's a family secret.
  Cannot wait to go back :)
