Small and cozy, but not what to expect from a 4 star hotel, rather dirty and a shower you can barely turn around in

Not a great hotel. Rooms were dirty, poorly maintained, and everything was fairly dated. It's cheap and in a convenient location though. You get what you pay for.

Tempted to give this Hotel No Stars But I can't.
We had a short break in Naples October 18-20 2016 and found this hotel. Oh before we get there we were charged 35 Euro from the airport and 13 to the airport. Now who is ripping who off!
So, the hotel, Very small 11 room hotel, about 10 meters wide and six floors. My wife had booked the 6th floor room with Balcony and Jacuzzi. Our first experience was the 'special Key' for the lift - 6th floor only our second was the 2 person lift it was tiny and I am sure on ropes it was so bouncy. We get to the 6th, lift door opens and there is a par of cupboard doors awaiting us. We looked around but could find no room so this had to be it. No locks on this door as it had a 'special key' remember however the stairs went all the way up. We open to be greeted by what I can only describe as bedding sponsored by Easy Jet! What a colour. The bed had a orange canopy also of muslin. Bathroom was interesting - We discovered later (post cold showers) that there was no hot water unless you pulled the string in the shower! WTF! It rained a bit and of course the roof leaked into the bathroom. Towels were clean! We had wine and a couple of items from the Minibar. Next day when we got home the bed had been changed, the glasses had not moved (still dirty) and the Minibar had not been looked at or refreshed.
The Jacuzzi was excellent well if the cover had not been ripped, filling the bath with dirty water and leaves Oh and IF there was any hot water - None and if the bubbles worked - no Oh and the surround of the hot tub - wooden steps was collapsing all around with potted plants falling into the gaps below.
The bed definitely had some form of biting bugs as the wife has 20+ bites. Just atrocious.
JUST DON'T GO HERE, its dirty, tired, and broken. Of course, the other rooms may be a palace!
Naples was interesting, we managed Pompeii and the walk to the top of Vesuvius in a day - knackered and could have done with that Jacuzziresponse / report this review -

The Hotel is a small and familiar one! It is situated near the main road of Naples! The breakfast is typical italian with sweet croissants, marmelade e.g. My room had a very small shower, but besides it is ok! Climate System works well and it gets cleaned every day! Sadly no balcony but for the price it is allright! The stuff is friendly and helpful :-)

Very basic shower a night mare, needs modernisation, had to pay a room tax at end of stay which was unexpected
