Hotel SAVOY was beautiful! The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean and accommodating to our needs. I can't help but rave about our service at the concierge by John Lucca . He helped map out and plan our 3 night stay by suggesting the best restaurants and historical sites to see in Rome and we were never disappointed! Every night we returned he always made sure to ask us how our evening was and was very personable. We greatly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Anything which can be done to help is never too much trouble. The accommodation is comfortable and the choices for breakfast would suit all tastes. For a special occasion or treat, the five course 'taster' menu should be tried. Don't be mislead; taster doesn't mean tiny portions! I'd definitely stay here again when in Rome.

The hotel and location are wonderful. The hotel has nice sized rooms and all the amenities including a complimentary smart phone with 4G service for our use around town! The location is very nice with several fine restaurants nearby. The Savoy also has a superb restaurant located on the roof with beautiful views of the city.

My daughter stayed 5 nights here and really enjoyed it. The staff is very helpful and polite and speak excellent English. They also give you what they call a Handy Phone with your room which you can use to call anywhere free of charge and also if another guest has their Handy Phone with them you can call them anywhere in the city just by dialing their room number.

The hotel itself is stunning like you would expect in Rome - that is just oneof many beautiful buildings here but the level of service exceeds expectations. I'm sure you could find some flaws but that would be nit picking.
I can fully recommend and sure will be coming back.

-Nice Hotel. Good selection of breakfast. Comfortable and clean rooms.
-The food and drink in the restaurant and bar very expensive, not good value for money. Bar staff wasn't friendly.
Over all - I would come back to stay but definitely would eat out during the day and night.

Old-world charm and class. A first-rate hotel. Our tour operator chose it. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Within walking distance of restaurants, bars, etc. (BTW, the little sidewalk store on the corner is a great place to get a bottle of water for walking and change. The operator is a savvy guy.)

The roof top restaurant served the best meal of our stay in Rome. And that is saying something. (They do close it off for private events so it's not a lock that you can get up there.)

Photographers: The view from the roof is sweeping but it isn't great. They have a old tourist-type telescope up there, just to view the Vatican (a mile or more away). But there are obstructions (mostly TV antennas). Non-photographers are thrilled with it.
