Great location, nice hotel. Very convenient to everything on Anacapri. but fairly over priced for the accommodations. Room was very small, even for Europe. Decent breakfast, typical for Italy. Easy access to the Blue Grotto, but for God's sake, don't walk! Take the bus from the Piazzetta.

Timeless. Great veiw of Marina Grande and Vesuvio. In house food & drink a bit overpriced. First Anacapri bus stop out front. Acrophobics beware!

Dated room. The power outlet is too small for any of our adapters. No shuttle for pick-up.

We were very disappointed by this hotel. It's clearly not a 4 stars hotel as there is no service
    -employees are not welcoming
-poor rooms: broken shower, old matress
-dirty: we had ants in our room!
-bad location: far from Capri center and Marina Grande. During peak season it's impossible to take the bus at this location since they are completely full at San michel hotel's station. You have to walk up to Anacapri center to get the chance to take the bus.
-additional fees for beds and umbrella at the pool (6€)
In conclusion: you won't have for your money!

Most amazing view! The staff is so polite. Free taxi around the island. Close walk to city center. Clean, newer rooms in antique building.

Great location, beautiful scenery, weary building, not so clean bathroom (in the suites!) , racist owner, rude employees, horrible breakfast. Do not waste your money.

This is a beautiful hotel with stunning views towards Maples across the sea. With one notable exception, the level of service, helpfulness and demeanor of the staff was very poor. The choice of food was lamentable with very limited options at both breakfast and dinner. Someone's you were charged for coffee after a meal and sometimes you weren't. Table water was always extra. There was no provision for making hot drinks in your room.

    I cannot recommend this place.

A little dated but the staff is nice and the rooms are reasonable for the area.

I didn't have a good experience at this hotel, and I'm not usually a fussy person! It is in a good location, about a 5 minute walk to the main square.

The hotel itself has some old charm, but needs a bit of modernization. My room was okay, the bed was comfortable. The toilet seat was broken and would slide off. I asked for it to be fixed, but after 4 days it still wasn't seen to! The bathroom was also small and pokey and the shower screen didn't close all the way so the shower would soak the floor. Good hot water though.

Breakfast was really not good. A real lack of choice, cold hard boiled eggs, a bit of tinned fruit, some fresh fruit, lots of sweet pastries though. Staff at breakfast looked moody and unhelpful.

Probably the worst experience came when I checked out, they said I needed to pay 8 euros for some fried eggs I had at breakfast! When I was at breakfast I saw people getting cooked eggs, so I asked a waiter for some. He didn't mention anything about having to pay for them, and there was no menus on the table. The lady at reception who was demanding the payment took me to the restaurant and went behind the bar and got a menu showing me the price. I said to her "how was I supposed to see that when there are no menus on the table!" She was insistent on me paying but I outright refused, based on principle of the ridiculous cost and second because no one told me I had to pay for some cooked eggs. It definitely left a sour taste.

Another thing was the wifi, it was not working for at least 80% of the time at the hotel. I got better wifi on my travels in Asia, I'm surprised how poor it was at this European hotel.

I wouldn't stay here again to be honest. The desk staff were nice but that's about it.
