This is not a 4-star place but it is a 4-star in its category: Spartan yet centrally located "pensione" (some sort of old Italian Inn). Nice staff, willing to go the extra-mile to make your stay a comfortable one. If you are looking for a full-fledged hotel, look elsewhere.

Nice place with small rooms.
Really good price/quality ratio.

Perfume stolen by cleaning staff. Never happen to me before really shocked by this. And I'm reading another review from last week about stolen money from cleaning stuff in this hotel. Hotel owner should read the reviews and maybe take some action.

Money stolen by cleaning staff. Also requested them to not to clean the next day and that request was ignored. Not to mention beds were rock hard, but that is to be somewhat expected. Without theft my rating would have been 3 stars just fyi.
