Very nice hotel overall. Only issue was the female owner who came across like she looked down on us and had a bad attitude.
Great location, helpful staff and very pleasant rooms. Only a few minutes walk from Ortigia and the train station. The hotel offers comfortable rooms, is very quiet and provides a delicious breakfast buffet.
Friendly boutique hotel near Syracuse old city
Very friendly staff, comfy hotel, good location for visiting the island etc. There are a couple of reserved parking spots outside, I think available on a fcfs basis. But parking is not hard to find. Cake for breakfast
Modern hotel that has retained the spirit of its ancient heritage. Helpful staff. Nice, clean rooms. The feel of each room varies a bit (some are lighter, some are darker). The showers leak quite a bit of water onto the bathroom floors, which isn't a big problem, but could easily be fixed. The breakfast was good, except for a mouldy peach in the fruit bowl. The location is convenient and a short walk from the island which is the main area you'll want to be at. Overall would recommend.
I found the staff on the reception desk incredibly helpful and with an excellent command of the English language which put my poor knowledge of their language to shame. Breakfast was more than excellent (marvellous homemade cakes and pastries, fresh orange juice, local cheese, and ricotta!). The room was clean and comfortable. We had chosen this hotel because it was ideally located between Ortygia and the Archeological Parc. We left Siracusa very satisfied and relaxed with the intent to come back!
I loved the family that ran this hotel! They were so pleasant and welcoming. It was close to the train station, so it was super easy just to walk to a from it with all of my luggage. Simple and understated, and a very excellent price. It was by far one of the best places I stated while I visited Italy.
