Isola meravigliosa ! Hotel accogliente e ben curato, vista mare mozzafiato e colazioni super buone. ..nonostante le recensioni negative lette ci siamo fidati del nostro istinto e la vacanza è stata un successo ! Grazie al Signor Alessandro e alla Signora Britta e un grazie speciale alla giovane Charisse per aver riempito il cuore della piccola Francesca ! Speriamo di ritornare presto nella stupenda Baia di Citara ! Lucia e Alberto

Came here and immediately loved the place where the hotel is, but that's maybe all positive I can say. We were 4 people with 2 booked rooms.
The rooms were okay, clean and there is nothing to complain about it. The employees (a German speaking girl and a young man) were absolutely friendly and helpful.
The hotel is on a beautiful place and everything is fine.
But our horror story begann with the first step we took into the hotel. We came in, were the hotel manger, a lady waited, first she talked for fun with someone else and let us wait for like 20 minutes, then we went to the desk. She said nothing, not "hey" not "welcome" she just said: "for the last two night I have no rooms for you" I mean seriously? And all she added was: "but I don't feel guilty at all! I can only give you a 4 person room!"
She also said: "I have Emails to prove that it's not my fault"
The 4 person room in the end was one of our two rooms just with a children bed above each other. So her way to solve the problem was to take us one of our 2 rooms, but still let us pay for both.
Of course we couldn't accept this, so we called some numbers and we decided to ask her if she could show us those email, but all she did was to say: "Okay, but then I can't host you here at all" I mean it became stranger and stranger. I tried to calm her and told her: "you have to understand us, we pay a lot of money and we can't accept that we pay for a room we can't use" but she just became more angry and ran in a room behind her desk and shouted: "it's enough!" Then she stopped caring at all. She told us nothing, nothing about the hotel or that we need a key for the beach, nothing about the wifi.
In the end we could change the hotel.
She also kept our passports for hours with the excuse she needs to do something with them, she did nothing but laying at the pool.
At the check out she and her husband were there, both took very long to do anything and by the way they didn't say a word not "goodbye" nothing, incredibly unfriendly people.
A disaster, that has nothing to do with a hotel, she walks around and destroys others people's holidays, who save money a whole year for that. Go and look for something else, if you want have a stressless holiday.response / report this review -

I had a terrible stay here. It should be prohibited to do such business with such service, such owners mood and aggression.
Breakfasts very very poor. Do not be surprised of cockroachs in the room. WiFi I used mobile data.
Be ready for extra charging in each your step: for conditioner, for key, even for free breakfast table in better place with nicer view, for everything.
I advise to take a video all the time.
Owner won't be listen you, they will shout, accuse, blame and insult you.
The story not all, but ended it with a police visit, when we asked to show for what we are paying and write an invoice for that.response / report this review -

Very rude manager. Hotel not so good also. No wifi interneto rooms. You'll have to pay extra for almost everything. Not recommended.

Hotel IMPERAMARE in Ischia/ Neapel:
Eigentümerin sehr unfreundlich, Personal inkompetent. Öffentliche laute Streitgespräche zwischen Chefin und deren Freund und auch mit dem Personal!
Essen ungenießbar (faule Tomaten, Feigen und Trauben, verklebter Schinken und Wurst. In der Früh schon zeitig keine Panini mehr vorhanden. Vitello Tonnato: Fleischrollen nur mit fetter Mayonnaise gefüllt und mit Mayo und Ketchupstreifen verziert). Vorspeisenbuffet für das Abendessen wird erst im Laufe des Abendessens aufgebaut. Schmutziges Besteck, Tische nicht ausreichend gedeckt zu den Mahlzeiten. Salzstreuer auf den Tischen sind Mangelware. Kommunikation zwischen der Chefin und dem Küchen= und Servierpersonal unzureichend. Personal weiß z. B. nicht Bescheid über geänderte Essenszeiten, welche uns seitens der Hotelchefin vortags angekündigt wurden (Gäste warten1/2 Std. im dunklen Speisesaal).
Einzelzimmer winzige Kammer, Schrank nicht zu verwenden, da Kühlschrank vor der Schranktüre steht, d. h., Koffer kann nicht ausgepackt werden und muß aus Platzmangel auf dem Bett (=Schlafcouch!) lagern, da auch am Boden kein Platz dafür vorhanden ist! Einganstüre ist Terrassentüre, kann nicht gekippt werden. Kein anderes Fenster im Zimmer.
Nummernsafe funktioniert nicht. Auf unsere Frage an Chefin, wie dieser Safe in Betrieb zu nehmen ist, Hinweis auf den "Notschlüssel" am Schlüsselbund, mit dem ja jeder Safe aufzusperren ist (!). Wenn wir kein Vertrauen haben, könnten wir den Schlüsselbund ja tagsüber mitnehmen.
Frage nach einem Bus-Ticket (an Eingangstüre befindet sich eigener Anschlag für Busticket-Verkauf!): "habe soeben das letzte Ticket verkauft und kaufe auch keine mehr! Tickets gibt es in jedem Tabakladen"
Barbezahlung nicht möglich, da Bankomat derzeit nicht vorhanden.
Nach all diesen Enttäuschungen haben wir mit Hilfe unseres Reiseveranstalters das Hotel gewechselt, wo wir sehr zufrieden waren, weil wir aus diesem Albtraum erwacht sind und den restlichen Urlaub genießen konnten!!!response / report this review -

Vista panoramica eccellente. Cibo discreto non di grande qualità,pulizia scarsa,bagni fatiscenti,biancheria mai presente in camera,piscina sporca e pericolosa,il fiore all'occhiello i proprietari incivili scortese e poco disponibili. Soggiorno da dimenticare.

Hotel fantastico e staff molto cordiale e disponibile. Abbiamo soggiornato presso l'hotel Imperamare 2 notti e siamo state benissimo. A 10 minuti dalla spiaggia di Citara, con servizio navetta a disposizione per qualsiasi evenienza.

A lovely small hotel with a familiar atmosphere. Incredible sight to the bay. Very nice garden with a thermal pool (35°). Looks like a small paradise!
