Very nice and well trained professionals who makes your stay perfect. Superb view. Very good breakfast.
A nice hotel in a great location, with friendly service. Our room was below standard, otherwise would have been happy to rate it 4 stars.
Great hotel, with friendly staff. The terrace gives a great view of the surrounding countryside where you can have a relaxing drink.
The hotel is perfectly located within the town of Taormina. From the garden you follow a set of small steps right into centre of town and it's alleyways. The room was modern but small, the hotel does feel a bit dated but would definitely book here again.
The cons would include the non insulated walls where you can literally hear your neighbour burp. At 5 am the trucks restock the restaurant and hotel next door so expect to be awaken. The crowds can also be heard until 1am. So if you're a light sleeper then bring ear plugs. The washroom also has no fan. The air conditioning unit and other plugs throughout the room have bright LEDs so you'll see that at night too. We had to place a hat on top of one! Parking is extremely limited with space for three cars. Given the extra amount spent for parking you might as well stay elsewhere. Breakfast is minimal. Expect to eat the same food each day. For me it was bread with cheese and tomato -that's where it ended.
The view is phenomenal and the rooftop patio is great.
Nice cozy hotel, some rooms are with fantastic views from their balconies. The hotel has a sky bar, it also has amazing view and tasty cocktails.
My room has little tiny balcony, and gorgeous view, The rooftop view is the killer.
Nel cuore del centro storico di Taormina. Posizione ottima, terrazza con vista mare e vista Etna. Spettacolare
Perfect service and grate drinks
Superb views of Etna from the terrace, a lovely breakfast, very helpful staff that can't do enough to help, located very close to the main street and duomo but in a quiet position just aside from it. The only let down was the room which was okay but a little spartan and tired. But you don't go to sit in your room so 4 stars.
We were on a driving trip (Mid April 2008) from Manchester/UK to Gozo and for one of the nights we decided to stay in Taormina. We hadn’t booked ahead for this night and found the hotel by chance driving through the narrow streets. We were enticed to check this hotel as luckily enough there was a spare place to park off the road outside the hotel entrance.
We needed two rooms which I was shown in advance before deciding to stay.
The rooms were clean with double bed and bathroom containing bath/shower bidet, toilet etc and a balcony was accessible through a glass door.
There is a fantastic view of the bay and smoking Mt Etna from a large balconied area accessible from the entrance floor level with table and chairs arranged and a small manned bar for drinks. (Pictures are available of the view on Google Earth location Lat 37.8519° Lon 15.2824°)
The staff were very courteous and friendly and the breakfast was very good with an excellent range of foods and included in the price.
The hotel has a pedestrian exit through a Jasmine scented Garden at the back (bay side) which is a handy for the main street approx 70 metres below. The Greek ruins are approx a 20 mins slow walk away.
