Absolutely lovely, comfortable, clean and cosy hotel with friendly and attentive staff!

Beautiful place, amazing views, great food, great location, large rooms, and parking available. I only wish the pool was remained open late.

I'm not sure if we were unlucky looking at the other reviews, but we weren't satisfied with our stay at this hotel.
Despite paying for a superior room, it was small and the bathroom was incredibly dated with a very poor shower and often there were ants around the sink which we didn't expect from a 4 star hotel. We stayed on the seventh floor which also meant we could hear the sound of the chairs from the restaurant above scraping at the early hours of the morning whilst they set up for breakfast. The only saving grace was the beautiful big balcony that overlooked the sea and the upstairs restaurant was good and served nice food.
The staff in the hotel weren't particularly friendly and the receptionist was rude when she told us we could check in at 2pm and then we returned at 2pm, told us curtly we had to wait an additional 40 minutes with no apology.
The pool was closed for most of our three day stay with no apology from management, so we only got to use if for a few hours which was unacceptable given it was one of the reasons we chose the hotel.
I feel for the price you could find a much better hotel in the area.response / report this review -

Absolutely wonderful views, breakfast buffet great,and staff very helpful. The only complaint might be the hard beds, but hey if that is my only complaint I'll die a happy man!

Great view and close to town and by the beach. Breakfast that was included was simple but very delicious. It's location is at the far end of town, on top of a hill. The hotel is actually built right in the mountain. View out of this hotel is breath taking, you can see the entire Amalfi cost from your room or from the roof top restaurant. Beach was 5 min walk down the hill, great crystal clear water, but the main towns beach was very much commercialized. But this hotel had a private secluded beach for $20 or so that was very peaceful and in a cave like setting, which was almost right under the hotel. Food in town was decent, but the Italian jillato (ice cream ) from any store was to die for, plus it was very inexpensive. We took both busses and boats to visit the nearby towns, very readable in cost. Boat ride definitely is amazing and must do thing. If you wanted eat for cheap, you need to look for take out pizzeria , usually serves a personal pizza for under 10$, which is good for 2 ppl. There was also store right in town that sold New York style pizza in slices for ~2$.

Very nice hotel, good view over the bay from all the balconys very nice and friendly staff and a speciel thanks and cher to my favorite bartender Gabriele, he know what I like .. a Pina Colada on the terrace Cheers mate ;-) John Denmark

Wonderfull hotel, with magnifficent view over the Amalfi coast.
Excellent view from the rooms terasses, and exceptionel view from the restaurant on the 8.th floor.
Very good breakfast and dinner menues. Service is excellent.
Rooms are not brand new, but everything is nice and very clean. The beds are top quality.
