Wonderful, old fashioned service, cool and airy building with superb sea-view terraces. The breakfast is good and the bar is quiet but excellent. The dining is very reasonably priced but as good as any other we tried in the area. The beach is a stone's throw and towels can be borrowed/keys and valuables looked after at reception. This hotel contributes in no small part to my love of the Amalfi coast.

Fantastic location and views of the main beach and surrounding part of Positano. Lovely staff and great intimate atmoshphere. Take advantage of the included breakfast and have it delivered to your room for a breakfast on your terrace looking out to the ocean.
Room was very well appointed with toiletries, coffee/tea, kettle, bathrobes, and even a towel warmer.response / report this review -

My go to for a simple, easy, relatively well price meal in Positano. The staff are wonderful, attentive and know the menu quite well. They are open all day. I would highly recommend! Last time I ate here, I witnessed a wonderful proposal which no doubt the staff assisted in arranging.

Great location. Views from almost every single room. Make sure to get superior room as they are newer and better appointed than the older ones. Great balconies to see the sunset. Also, their breakfast buffet is hard to match. Great experience overall

Wonderful! This was our last stop on our Italian honeymoon and it was perfect. The room was impeccably clean, but I think the terrace was the best part. Beautiful views of the town and sea. Make sure to upgrade to a room with a terrace! We were so thankful that the hotel was centrally located, without too many steps to the beach. We didn't need to use the courier service. We also took a cooking class at the hotel's restaurant - one of our favorite moments of the trip.

Buca di Bacco was accommodating, delicious, and had beautiful views. The wait service was top notch and the prices were appropriate for the location and the town.

My wife and I stayed here in September 2016 with 4 other couples. It was the most wonderful experience of our lives. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The waiter knew our drink preferences the very next day! Always serving with a Buongiorno and a smile. the front desk staff helped with taxi service or a recommendation. the location could not have been more picturesque. The view from our balcony was superb and breakfast on the veranda was breathtaking. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone!! We purchase the scented oil reeds that were throughout the hotel to take home to remind us of the fresh aroma smell of the hotel. Each morning I come downstairs it reminds me of my fantastic trip to Positano and our stay at Hotel Buca di Bacco!!

My wife and I participated in the cooking class at Buca di bacco, it was amazing! The perfect combination of doing and watching, we were able to aid the head chef of the restaurant in prepping a 4-course meal which was delicious! Really a must do in Positano!!

Stayed here 2 nights. Was a wonderful hotel, wished we had done an extra day here instead of Florence by the end of it. Balcony view was incredible, best breakfast selection I've ever had, room was quite nice and comfortable. The staff may have arguably been the best part, extremely kind and helpful. Made some great recommendations as well as making reservations and calling taxis when needed. Can't recommend this hotel enough.
