We stayed at this hotel last week. 18-21 Oct 2017. Although it is the end of the season on the Almafi Coast, and we were one of 2 or 3 couples staying here, we were treated as if the hotel was full. We had so many choices for breakfast it was hard to decide what to eat. The restaurant was open every evening, as was the pool, terraces, and bar. The staff was warm and inviting, and answered all of our questions regarding what to do while visiting the area. Our room was on the 3rd floor, and large enough to be comfortable. The bath and shower were on the smaller side, but how much time do you actually spend in there? The balcony, while not private, overlooked the town, and provided stunning views of the town, and the extraordinarily beautiful sunsets. If we ever get back to the area we will definitely stay here again. Note: This hotel is built on the side of a mountain. You take a lift from the street level lobby, and then walk up about 40 steps to the main lobby. I would not recommend staying here if you are not able up to walk up stairs. Luckily, the porter will carry your luggage to/from your room, and the effort is greatly rewarded.

Liebe Gäste wir möchten sie warnen bitte weg von der Mini-Bar, wir hatten das Hotel auf der Durchreise für eine Nacht gebucht um am nächsten Tag aufgefrischt weiter zu reisen, vor dem zu Bett gehen hatten wir zusammen ein 33cl Nastro Azzuro Bier aus der Mini Bar genommen, klar auch mit dem Gedanken das es teurer ist. Am nächsten Morgen kam die Ernüchterung bei der Bezahlung haben sie von uns 42 Euro verlangt!!!!!!! Ich glaube Wucher ist noch das harmloseste Wort dafür!!!! Volle Abzocke würde ich das nennen, selbst in dem 5 Sterne Hotel in Taormina am Meer wo wir fürs Zimmer 520 € bezahlten kostet das gleiche Bier nur 8 €. Trotzdem die Leute dort sind sehr nett und die Aussicht wunderschön aber fünf Sterne sind definitiv zu viel.

Dear guests we would like to warn them away from the mini-bar, we had booked the hotel on the transit for one night to travel the next day refreshed, before going to bed we had together a 33cl Nastro Azzuro beer from the mini Bar taken, clearly synonymous with the thought it is more expensive.The next morning came the disillusionment in the payment they have asked for from us 42 euros !!!!!!!I believe usury is still the most harmless word for it !!!! Full rip-off I would call that, even in the 5 star hotel in Taormina by the sea where we paid 520 € for the room costs the same beer only 8 €.Nevertheless the people there are very nice and the view wonderful but five stars are definitely too much.

Cari ospiti che vorremmo avvisarli lontani dal mini-bar, avevamo prenotato l'albergo sul transito per una notte per viaggiare il giorno successivo rinfrescato, prima di andare a letto abbiamo avuto insieme una birra 33cl Nastro Azzuro dalla mini Bar preso, chiaramente sinonimo del pensiero è più costoso. La mattina successiva è venuta la disillusione nel pagamento che hanno chiesto da noi 42 euro !!!!!!! Credo che sfacciatamente sia ancora la parola più innocua per questo !!!! Non trovo la giusta parola, anche in hotel 5 stelle a Taormina sul mare dove abbiamo pagato 520 € per la camera costa la stessa birra solo 8 €. Tuttavia le persone sono molto bravi e la vista meravigliosa ma cinque stelle sono sicuramente troppo.

Hotel in posizione fantastica, raggiungibile con una funicolare privata, da cui si gode un panorama mozzafiato.
Gentilezza, professionalità, disponibilità uniti ad un ottima cucina fanno di questo hotel un luogo magico.
