Incredible ace. The hotel itself draws your attention only by walking past its marvelous architecture. Staying at the hotel only lifts your experience towards new heigts. The personell is really kind and professional. What i liked the best except the ingenious architectural experience, was the very morning after and breakfast with style. We enjoyed our stay at the Eden Hotel, despite a few teething problems (the hotel had opened just a few days before): on the day we arrived our room was pretty cold (the thermostat - in the warmest part of the room - showed 18C), and after three hours it hadn't passed 20C. On our request we were moved to a warmer room, which, if anything, was too warm: we couldn't get it under 23.7 (we couldn't simply open the windows because my partner was bedridden with a flu). The restaurant hadn't open yet, which complicated things a little when my poor sick partner had to be fed.

That aside, the hotel itself is elegant and welcoming (although some design decisions, such as the fact there is no hallway connecting the main blocks and one has to get out to reach the reception were simply inexplicable to me).

The location is great (5-6 minutes walk to the slopes and the main sport shops, 8-9 minutes walk to the town center), the standard rooms much bigger than we needed (although another design choice left us unexcited: I would have gladly swapped one of the two flat screen 32 inches tvs with a system for playing on demand movies), the services good (nespresso machines in the rooms, relax center with a good sauna and turkish bath, big parking, almost direct access to the slopes, and I guess the restaurant will be worth it).

The staff were great, helping us in all possible ways (my gf was unfortunately sick all the time, and they brought her freshly pressed orange juice, fruit trays, etc.). I'm not too sure the price is entirely justified: on half of our stay, and despite a promotional rate, we paid 250€/night, which looks like a lot to me for a mountain hotel, even if designed by a famous architect.

A stay at the Grand Hotel Bagni Nuovi (5* luxe) isn't much more expensive, and would have granted free access to the amazing spas in both the Bagni Nuovi and Bagni Vecchi (34-48€ pp/day depending on day and hour).

Overall: a pleasant stay, which I would probably not reconsider unless they didn't become more competitive with the Grand Hotel in price terms.
